• The Saraswati Temple found on a hill in Wargal village in Siddipet District, Telangana, is renowned as one of the state's prominent Saraswati temples, following Basara. This temple is particularly known for Aksharaabyasa, a ceremony for children, and stands as a significant pilgrimage site in the vicinity of Siddipet and Hyderabad.
• The Wargal Saraswati Temple, also recognized as Sri Vidya Saraswati Temple, was constructed by Sri Yamavaram Chandrashekhara Sharma. Its foundation stone was laid in 1989, and in 1992, Sri Vidya Nrusinha Bharati Swamy initiated the construction of the statues of Goddess Sri Vidya Saraswathi Devi and Lord Shani. Presently, the temple is under the management of Kanchi Mutt.
• Dedicated to Goddess Saraswati Devi, the Wargal Temple features a sanctum sanctorum situated approximately at the level of the third floor. Adorned with exquisite jewelry, garlands, and draped in a saree, the resplendent Goddess is depicted in grandeur. A magnificent 10-feet idol of the Goddess stands in front of the temple, showcasing exceptional artistic craftsmanship.
