The farmer's dedication and hard work paid off as his fruit trees grew well under his careful watch. Among all the fruits, he paid special attention to his grapes and watermelons, nurturing them in a small corner of his farm.
When the fruits ripened and were ready to be eaten, the farmer decided to present the best fruit to the king as a gift. His wife suggested that the best fruits on their farm that year were the watermelons and grapes. Considering the long journey to the palace, the farmer chose to take grapes because watermelons were too heavy.
With a basket filled with bunches of grapes, the farmer set off on his journey to the king's palace. Upon reaching the palace, he informed the palace guard about his gift for the king. The guard escorted him to the royal garden, where the king was seen enjoying playful moments with the princess.
The farmer quietly placed the basket of grapes in front of the king and took a seat nearby. When the king rested, the guard presented the grapes to him, mentioning they were a gift from the farmer.
The king, still in a playful mood, plucked a grape from the basket and playfully threw it at the farmer. This happened a couple of times, and each time the grape hit the farmer, he exclaimed, "Thank God!"
Surprised by the farmer's reaction, the king asked why he kept thanking God when the king was playfully throwing grapes at him.
The wise farmer replied with a smile, explaining that he had grown the best grapes and watermelons on his farm and chose grapes for the gift, imagining how heavy it would be if he had brought watermelons instead. This made the king realize the farmer's wisdom and gratitude.
