Steps to Draw a Circle Using a Compass for

1. Hold the compass firmly in one hand and the pencil in the other hand.
2. Open the compass to the desired radius of the circle you want to draw. You can adjust the radius by loosening the screw at the top of the compass and sliding the legs apart or closer together.
3. Place the pointed end of the compass on the paper where you want the center of your circle to be.
4. Keep the compass steady and slowly rotate it 360 degrees in a clockwise or counterclockwise direction, while keeping the pencil pressed against the paper.
5. Make sure to keep the compass steady and maintain the same radius throughout the rotation to ensure a perfect circle.
6. Once you've completed the rotation, lift the compass and admire your perfectly drawn circle on the paper!

Find its Centre

1. Trace a circle on a piece of paper.

2. Fold the paper in half along any straight line across the circle.

3. Fold the paper again along another straight line.

4. Open up the paper and find the point where the folds meet.

5. This point is the center of the circle.

Balancing act

To balance a circle, you need to find its center and then carefully hold it steady from underneath at that point. Once you have a firm grip, try balancing the circle on your finger or a pencil by placing it gently in the middle. Adjust your finger or pencil until the circle stays upright without tipping over.
