  • His notable work, Brahmasphutasiddhanta ("Corrected Treatise of Brahma"), included critiques of other mathematicians' work and presented many mathematical concepts in poetic form. This book contained numerous arithmetic rules that have become integral to modern mathematics.
  • In addition to this, Brahmagupta authored the Khandakhadyaka in 665 CE, focusing on mathematics and astronomy. At 67 years old, he also proposed that the Earth and the universe are spherical, rather than flat. Brahmagupta was the first to use mathematics to predict planetary positions and eclipse timings and developed a method for solving quadratic equations.

Prithvi Raj Chauhan's Rule
