Trial Necessary to Determine 'Religious Character of Place of Worship': Allahabad HC
The Allahabad High Court has recently indicated that the Places of Worship Act, 1991 does not specify the "religious character of any place of worship." Instead, this character can only be established through a trial, relying on documentary and oral evidence, and should be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
