If you color 3 of those big marks, you have 30 paise, which is the same as 0.30 rupees.
Adding and Subtracting Decimals in Daily Life
Adding Decimals: If you spend 20 paise (0.20 rupees) on a eraser and 30 paise (0.30 rupees) on an pencil, you spend a total of 50 paise, which is 0.50 rupees.
Subtracting Decimals: If you start with 1 rupee and spend 60 paise on stickers, you have 40 paise left, or 0.40 rupees.
