Friendship is one of the most beautiful parts of life. A good friend is like a treasure who supports us, laughs with us, and stays by our side through thick and thin. I feel lucky to have a best friend who makes my life happier and more meaningful.
My best friend’s name is Aarav. We have been friends since Class 1. Now we are both in Class 6, and our bond has only grown stronger. Aarav is kind, helpful, and cheerful. He is always ready to help others and never says anything to hurt anyone.
We sit together in class and share our lunch during the break. Aarav is very good at Math, and he often helps me with difficult sums. I am better at English, so I help him in return. We also enjoy playing cricket and chess together. Whether it’s studies or games, we always support and encourage each other.
One of the reasons Aarav is my best friend is because he understands me well. Whenever I feel sad or upset, he listens to me and cheers me up. Once, I forgot my homework and was feeling very nervous. Aarav shared his notebook with me so I could complete it before class. That moment made me realize how lucky I am to have such a caring friend.
We celebrate our birthdays together and often visit each other’s houses on weekends. Our families are also good friends now. Aarav and I have promised to stay best friends forever, even when we grow up and study in different schools or cities.
Having a best friend like Aarav makes life more joyful. A true friend is someone who accepts you as you are and helps you become a better person. I hope every child gets to experience the joy of true friendship like I do.
