Ans. First of all, the potatoes are partially cooked in boiling, salted water for 8 minutes. Then, the water is drained and the potatoes are allowed to cool. Next, one tablespoon of oil is heated in a frying pan and the onion is added to it and cooked gently for one minute. Thereafter, the potatoes are coarsely grated, the onion is added to them and the two are mixed well. This potato-onion mixture is divided into 4 portions.
