(I) Given below are some instructions on how to make a 'potato rosti'. Read them carefully and then rewrite the whole process in the form of a paragraph in passive voice. Do make use of words like 'First...', 'Then ... ', 'Next...', 'After this .. .', 'Finally. .. ' etc. to indicate the correct sequence in which different steps are to be taken.

Ans. First of all, the potatoes are partially cooked in boiling, salted water for 8 minutes. Then, the water is drained and the potatoes are allowed to cool. Next, one tablespoon of oil is heated in a frying pan and the onion is added to it and cooked gently for one minute. Thereafter, the potatoes are coarsely grated, the onion is added to them and the two are mixed well. This potato-onion mixture is divided into 4 portions. Now, half a tablespoon of olive oil is heated in a frying pan and one tablespoon butter is added to it until it is hot and sizzling. Next, a potato portion is added to the pan, flattened and cooked until golden in colour. Finally, the rosti is placed on a serving plate and served along with the dressing and the salad.
