The Solar System is made up of the Sun, planets, moons, comets, asteroids, minor planets, and dust and gas. There are eight planets in our solar system. Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune.

The Sun is so large, and has powerful gravity which attracts all other objects in the solar system.
