of Vietnamese pronunciation is final
sounds we have two kinds of final sounds
in Vietnamese consonants and vowels so
now let's have a look on final
consonants first we have eight
consonants which can be final sounds in
Vietnamese please forget adjourned as
we've already said it before we have 22
initial consonants but only 8 final
consonants and as you can see ISM is a
consonant which can be a final but it
doesn't exist as an initial now very
important final consonants in Vietnamese
are implosive which means that you do
not pronounce them with a explosion or a
coda
pronouncing final consonants with
explosion or coda is a very common
mistake especially for Westerners for
example how can you pronounce the name
of my country is Vietnam Vietnam and
then many foreigners pronounce it with
clear explosion and colder like Viet Nam
Viet Nam and it's not right it should be
Viet Nam Viet Nam so when I pronounced
it you hardly hear an explosion of cold

each final consonant first we have ma as
