okay so here we are lesson 10 we're
going to do three left hand exercises
today finish out the left hand exercises
I think we might have some right hands
next time and then I'll start again
teaching the lot normal lesson format
you know teaching you some new things
and then we'll play some examples with
those in them so we have left hand
exercise number three C position
remember C position you want your
leftmost finger which is our pinky in
this case on C which is the C below
middle C in this case right there lay
the rest of your fingers on the next
consecutive notes I think you get it by
now so and this one's stepwise motion -
I think you know what that means that's
just note to note in the alphabet so G
and then we have F EE D is just not
skipping around so let's get started on
this one so to start off we have one on
G to one f3 honey
for a D my own cd5 on C so once again
ignore that little eight up there at the
beginning and imagine that there's a 4/4
time signature in this one so when you
play this one beginning end it will
sound like this

there you go so that is a left hand
exercise number three in C position
let's look at left hand exercise number
four C position stepwise motion I think
you get the drill by now should be four
four at the beginning of the measure or
the beginning of the example but here we
go we have C with five D with for free
with e2 with f1 on g2 on f3 on e2 on D
and I mixed it up I mixed it up I'm
sorry so it's gonna be fine on C 3 on 2
on M 1 G 1 2 on f3 on four on D and five
on scene I don't know why that was so
hard for me to say but anyway playing it
from beginning to end it will sound like
this
there you go so that's left-hand
exercise number four our last exercise
for today is left hand exercise number
five C position now we're now we have
skipping motion and this is because we
are actually skipping from note to note
if you see here that we have C and then
we skip to eat skip to G we're just
skipping every other note each time so
that's what's called skipping motion if
we were jumping around all over the
place that would be called leaping
motion and we'll talk about that in
later examples so here we go I'll try to
explain this one of us I can walk you
through it so we have a five on C 3 on e
2 1 on G 3 on e5 on C 3 oniy one on G 3
on E
Oh one on G 3 on key and one on seal
and what you can play a beginning and it
should sound something like this
