Northwestern University that houses a
range of experiments interactive
learning activities and teacher support
materials all under the Creative Commons
license it uses the ilab system created
by MIT to allow students and teachers to
remotely access expensive high-end
laboratory equipment at different
universities around the world I labs
also has a repository of support
material for teachers who wish to
incorporate experiments into their own
classes to access the range of remote
experiments available just click the
Browse I labs button and browse the
content by a subject area grade level or
device
this offers you access to a range of
different physical experiments in
institutions around the world each
experiment offers a range of
pre-developed learning activities as
well as a range of supportive links such
as resources frequently asked questions
technical requirements troubleshooting
and curricula there's also a link to the
ilab central lab manager which remotely
controls the laboratory equipment
however before you can access the
equipment you have to register to gain a
username and password once this is
emailed to you you're ready to log on
and begin using the laboratory equipment
you
