collision-free driving is largely based
on what is called defensive driving when
you are driving defensively
you are simply anticipating the actions
of others or what I call looking for the
stop and in the back of your mind
preparing to adjust your path if the
other vehicle does what you anticipate
it learning to be a defensive driver
takes hours and hours of driving

compensate for this by lowering my speed

of these cars moves into my very open
lane this is why I call defensive
driving looking for the stop now in this
position defensive driving would require
me anticipating a quick stop from the
car in front of me so again I just
increased my following distance and
match my speed to the cars around me I
keep my speed a little slower than
theirs in this style of driving you are
trolling them to a certain extent you're
hunting them when they stop you stop
when they move into your lane you have a
plan
