Chinese New Year it's just around the
corner and this year is going to be the
year of the goat according to the
Chinese zodiac so today we're going to
learn some fun Chinese related to
Chinese New Year and the wonderful
tradition of Chinese zodiac animals
sounds like fun right before we get
started let's reveal how to say Happy
New Year in Chinese happy new year is
Shin Young koala shi Yan koala Xin Yun
koala literally means new year happy but
remember I've mentioned this many times
before in my lessons the way to say
happy holiday in Chinese is holiday
happy so let's repeat it one more time
Xin nian koala Xin nian koala you can
also just say shamian ha which literally
means good New Year I also have a video

festival is another way to say Chinese
New Year and the Chinese for it is 2020

there are 12 Chinese zodiac animals and
we call them sure our shumsa sure means

as anyone knows who has eaten at a
restaurant with Chinese zodiac placemats
there are twelve animals in the Chinese
zodiac and they have their own special
order and everyone has a wonderful
killed animals based on the year you
were born
surprisingly the most were red is the
number one I will explain why in another
