alright so now we're going to go into
blender and we're going to go file
import then SVG should be in there
okay just going to choose desktop in my
initials and there we go there they are
very cool so what I need to do is join
all these together but I need to make
these a little closer together also so
this provides me the ability to do that
all I do is have two one I would Center
this within the world and then Center
the cursor okay let's get rid of the box
click on the box and X delete it 7 on
the keyboard let's take all three of
these and center them near bouts with in
the world and then let's take them an
object transform origin to origin to
geometry there we go now each one of
these should have a good point so I
again I marquee selected them and went
object transform origin to geometry okay
so now i can click on them and just get
a move them closer together
just like that all right now we're just
going to join all these together hold
shift object join then we're going to go
object convert curve from mesh now both
these kind of work I'm going to actually
choose this one right here and when you
hit tab now they're polygons okay good
good good now they are a lot of polygons
some of these are unneeded polygons even
so what I want to do is kind of reduce
them down just before we go any further
and to do that what we can do is go into
the little wrench and go to decimate all
right now while you're in decimate just
hit tab so you're in object mode and
then go like this and once you start
seeing this stuff happen go back up ok
cool now hit apply what you've done is
eliminated at least a few of the
unneeded faces within letters okay all
right now hit tab l on the keyboard and
highlight each one of these again that's
edit mode then control e and then right
click what control ii did was extrude
and now when I raise this up I have now
a dimension a Z dimension for all my
texts
alright let's make this now real world
scale okay and on the keyboard and
here's my dimensions right now what I'm
going to do is just scale this hate are
the keyboard to scale and let's kill
this up until I get some really good
dimensions what are really good
dimensions i'm going to say like 70 it's
really good to mention now let's go 80
round 80 perfect okay now in order for
this to work you know these are great
letters and all but what would be nice
is the ability for them to stand up okay
so what we're going to do is add
something to it we're going to add a
mesh cube then we're going to take this
and right now it's z thickness is 4.68
we're going to raise that to five and
then we're going to take this box and
also raise it to five we could do it
actually 5 55 and now they're the same
thickness okay I go 3 on the number pad
Z and I can align these up pretty good
well line it up deadly accurate here in
a second but for right now you know just
kind of generally place this within the
same coplanar as these in the same Z
range now are on the keyboard to take
this and make it a little bit bigger 7
on a number pad to jump into a top view
we're basically making this big huge
kind of bar that locks all the letters
together something like that so this bar
the letters have to sit in it just like
that but you don't want to lose too much
detail like this J right here might be
in it just a little too far but if you
look above these are all aligned with
each other so you don't want to ruin
that better to go like this and then
let's take the P hit tab take the
vertices of the P and then drag them
down okay good and the rest of the
letter should be fine
perfect now in order to get these on the
same plane where we're going to do is
just hit tab click a vertice and go mesh
snap cursor to selected hit tab object
transform origin 3d cursor so that moves
the cursor to that vertice and then in
turn moves the origin to the 3d cursor
ok let's do that to this piece grab a
vertice in edit mode ok snap cursor to
selected tab object transform origin to
3d cursor and why did that was this
because now I could put them on the same
plane so this I'm going to just type in
0 this i'm going to type in 0 and now
they're in the exact same level and
they're the same thickness this one's 5
and this one's 5 perfect let's join
these together object join and i should
get something that looks like this now

make a base for it
