I'm Lucinda chambers and this is my
fashion styling course with the business
of fashion
I would have loved it if I'd been told
what a stylist was when I was young and
it is a pure pleasurable thing to be
able to impart any knowledge that our
feeling and a sense that it's completely
doable that styling isn't something
that's remote and beyond your reach
you don't have to be a fully-formed
fully-fledged fashion editor fashion
director stylist while you're watching
this you don't have to feel I've got to
be as obsessional as crazy as she has in
order to succeed you don't I learned how
to do it and then I became passionate
about doing it it's like dressing you
can manage
it's like style you can manage it's
across
educate your eyes expose yourself
nothing is off-limits everything is
information if you love color and
texture and photography and imagery and
people then you probably are stylist if
I thought for a minute when I was doing
a picture anybody was going to look at
that picture finally you have to style
as if nobody else is going to look at
our picture it's only for you I love
styling because it creates almost
everything that I find exciting love
tends to make a picture to make shapes
to make the viewer feel emotional to
make the model feel something in those
clothes I've had tremendous highs lots
of lows disaster stories wonderful
stories and I'm really looking forward
to taking you on this journey with me
