welcome to Tirana Mar 148 and this sort
of works course and the third tutorial
in sheet metal series in this tutorial
we're going to talk about the next sheet
metal future each flange and we'll talk
about the first option plunge parameters

and there is a very simple sheet for
steel so let's see how to use the edge
flash here you will notice the each
flange option click on the edge is this
free this feature is to creating a flash
on the edge so pick the edge here you
will see the flange parameters select
edge go to the sheet and select the edge
where you are going to create your flash
note slick this edge and then when you
reach the length you need click OK or on
the right mouse button it is a very
simple edge lunch but we have created
this shape in the previous tutorial in
one single step here we have two steps
base flash and then each flange
I'm going to show you how we created in
one single step go to the royal and
sketch normal tool and make it shape
having something so dimensions let's
make this consider for horizontal and
then cheat meter this flash to extrude
the l-shape 100 min left
click okay as you noticed these
sheetmetal parameters is grayed out
because we already specified it is a
sheet of steel with the k-factor 0.4 and
we can change it as we seen in the
previous tutorial for now click OK here

one single step so let's make another
shape where we can notice that each flag
is handy to go to the right plan make a
u-shape
give it some dimension

and now let's extrude it by the base
flange
go to the sheet metal base flange and
here we have a u-shape beam and now
let's start use the each flash select
each flange and this time we go to
select this edge now in this case you
have the H blanch you can make it in a
way that you cannot do it by the base
flash so here you can select the edge
you need you can select it from below or
the above it and give it the same result
and this error if you click will change
the direction of this each flange the
second error here is dealing of the
flash we are also able to change that
links will be next options but for now I
am talking about the first option blanch
parameters and I will join when you
change the length both of the Dutch flag
changing at the same way and when you
are done click OK
and here you will notice that we Bend in
both side of this sheet meter
the next option and the inch flange
feature is the idiot flange profile for
example when you selected the edge is
selected the whole edge but how if you
need just for example to have half of
them you can do that in the Edit lunch
profile then you'll notice profile
sketch this sketch you are able now to
change it if you go the refine
and here is this sketch you can't change
it by dragging it freely change the
length of it then you can even add
dimension to that you can't reasonable
scheme and beside 10 you can also change
the shape of that sketch the select line
here slick the midpoint here and the
midpoint on the second line and trim the
corner and you notice how you changed
the sketch and on you are done you
simply click finish
and you notice how is the shape of that
flash go back to the each flange edit
feature when we edited the each flange
we were able to change this side let's
try to change and we are just able to
finish or to edit this side there is a
second approach you can please to the
sketch and you can change it on a
different way you go to the each flange
that in case you want to change the
second side you will notice that you
have two sketches that scheduled already
did it
as you remember exit from the sketch we
can select when you hover over this
sketch here eat it and you'll notice it
is in this side we can edit this sketch
at the same way add some dimensions
and then click ok and on you are done
from that sketch exhibit the sketch and
you will have your ditch flash it is it
the same way so there is two approaches
did the sketch on the flange now let's
see the next option and the edge lunch
again didn't feature you have to use
default radius as we said before when
you create sheet metal solo would assume
you are working with the same sheet of
mitten in this case stainless steel
sheet with a thickness of 1 millimeter
and using the same press was giving you
a bending radius of 1 millimeter so
there's kind no need to change that if
you change for example game press and
then you need and depending we just
changed accordingly that you can you
