Blender 2.7 Tutorial #78: Stranger Things Animated Intro (Part 2( #b3d Video Lecture | Learn and Master: Blender (English) - Professional Skills

welcome birth 78 i'm andy season how to
use thunder 2.7 in this tutorial we're
gonna continue on from the last tutorial
and we she started creating it the
opening title sequence for the show
stranger things but of course with your
own tiling whatever title that you want
in the last tutorial we created the
basic scene setup we create the outline
lettering the words that we're gonna be
using of course you can put your own
words in there in my case I'm doing the
title for my channel born CG we also
create a fairly complex material that
uses both that Verona texture and the
noise texture to make the glue eNOS of
the letters uneven and give it a really
really fine speckle as well we also
added a few post-processing effects
including a glare a few different types
of glare actually as well as a lens
distortion effect to give it that really
1980s imperfect feel if you've not seen
part one of this two-part miniseries up
a link on the screen right now so you
can go ahead and click on that and watch
part 1 before we continue on with part 2
but in this part 2 in this tutorial part
78 we're gonna be animating the letters
all coming together from the outside to
form the title we're also gonna be
making the bars expand above and below
the letters and I'll actually be showing
you how to animate the visibility of an
object you can actually animate
turning off and on an object's
visibility when you render out that's
how we're actually gonna make the bars
start appearing right when they start
expanding right when they become visible
we're also gonna be going over the
movement of the camera and how you
actually animate a camera and switch
between the cameras location so we can
get several shots in the same sequence
with the same camera we're gonna be
adding more lighting to the scene
we're also going to be bringing music
into blender so you can actually render
directly out to a video file that
actually contains the music that you
want in the final video and we're gonna
be going over render settings so that
you get a nice mp4 file when you render
out your final scene of course if you

this tutorial part 1 and part 2 were
actually recorded all in one tape but I
split it into two so we didn't have a
two hour long tutorial so I'm just gonna
resume in in a few moments right where I
left
let's go ahead and jump back in at this
point we want to break into animating
the letters in our 3d space as well as
the camera as well as the bones that are
either end of these bars so I'm gonna
make this 3d viewport over here quite a
bit larger I'll get rid of the side
panel so I can keep my camera and see
how it looks through my camera as an
animating the camera by animating the
layers first so I'm gonna make that
taller and shorter
I want my letters and the bar in fact
I'm not gonna worry about the bars yet
all my letters to start at the final
pose and we're gonna animate the letters
actually going outwards and then we're
gonna reverse that animation so I'm
gonna select all my letters at frame 1
I'm gonna insert a keyframe of all the
letters in their spot so I'll tap I on
my keyboard and I'm gonna insert a
location keyframe I was gonna use the
local scale location rotation and scale
but that's unnecessary we're only moving
these things around in fact I'm gonna
turn on my automatic keyframe insertion
and I make sure it's only inserting the
location keyframe so I'm gonna turn on
location only right there and then I'll
click on these little keys to make sure
it's only using this value over here
again with those little keys so let's go
to the top view and I also want these
letters to stay like that for a little
while B for about 140 frames or so so
I'll go there
I'll tap I and it'll insert that kind of
keyframe that we have set up right there
again so that's great let's go ahead and
move at frame how far do we go 460 460
we're going to have them at their
farthest location so I'm gonna move that
B I'll press G and put up maybe way over
there I'm gonna put the Oh kind of past
it
but we were going to get a nice sort of
passing the O's gonna pass the beep this
R is going to sort be higher up this n
is maybe going to
start over here the sea is gonna start
there and leave the G we'll do the same
sort of a thing it'll come in in fact no
I'm gonna undo that line I move the G
kind of over there I move these both
over there so let's see how that looks
if I go back to getting em press alt' a
we'll see how it looks it's going to be
still quite boring and then we're gonna
see it kind of go out no we don't want
we're getting here and I don't want this
is it's uh we're only going to frame 250
so I got to change that end value to 460
and I just came up with that value by
the way that 460 just came out of me
playing around and seeing what worked
and what speeds things had to move in
and things like that
let's go back to that 140 and see how
this looks I don't want any letters to
overlap at any point so I'm have to
adjust the starting places of the oh and
the be there and that end is obviously
going way too far and so let's go ahead
and see what we're doing here
that n needs to come back so it's gonna
be right about there in fact I think
what I'm gonna do is put it down there
so that I want to kind of get some nice
like crossing or just skimming by each
other so I like how that N and the C
there are really quite close I like that
quite a bit
I like how they both they kind of feel
like they're they're not quite at the
right spot they're not coming you know
the same speed exactly that oh and that
B are a big problem so I actually want
to maybe go back to the end there and
start that Oh a bit closer so that as it
kind of goes by it's kind of hard to
think when we're animating backwards
here 460 yeah I want that to be like
that no I want that B to be a bit slower
so I'm gonna move that down to read
about there we're pretty close but no
cigar let's move that a little bit
further away we're still a little bit
well does that move that closer
now we're going to do a little bit of
tricky work here that's not quite there
yet we're gonna actually animate the
camera not in a still a bunch of poses
we're actually going to control how fast
letters look as they're moving by
actually following along animating the
camera following along with her so we
can really really control how fast it
looks like the letters are moving even
though this B obviously moves a lot
quicker than me oh you won't see that in
the final animation because of Kara
we'll be following along with the beat
and the O at their own speed so we gotta
move that be a little bit farther away
so right about there perfect
so as anything else overlapping no I
like that quite a bit okay let's go
ahead and reverse this animation so I'm
gonna press a a few times to select the
entire thing I'm gonna go to the middle
of 460 which is 230 and the reason I'm
doing that is because my playhead is
where things will scale around so I'm
gonna scale us whole animation to a
negative 100% so I'm gonna tap s with
all the keyframes select C Delta s and
then negative one and press ENTER so s
and then negative one and then enter and
now that last keyframe is now at frame 0
and we have all the letters coming
together I'll press alt a so you can see
what that looks like and it's quite a
slow animation I know but that's sort of
the length of time we want to show all
those different letters coming in at and
then they're all coming in and at that
point I would want to animate the bars
after their kind of settled for a moment
so maybe at about 340 we want to start
seeing those letters about 340 I'm gonna
select the bones at the bottom bar I can
do them in any order I want and those
bones are still in object mode I'll go
to pose modes to animate we have Auto
key frame insertion turned on so I don't
worry about inserting any key frames
manually and I want to actually move
these in at the same speed towards the
very middle and the way
do that is over here in that side you
can press in on your keyboard bring it
up I'm going to restrict the scale of
each of the bones to not be able to
change so individually if I lock all
three axes of both bones and I scale of
I spike both bones in pose mode and tap
s to scale you can see that the bones
themselves are not stretching but
they're moving in closer to each other
which is exactly what I want so um at
3:40 I'll tap s and actually I just
realized no I would I thought that we
wouldn't get anything because we have
location but I'm scaling but it's just
moving those bones so we're good it will
insert a location keyframe and I'm gonna
move my mouse farther away all so I
don't get any problems there I'm gonna
have it start read about like that now
don't worry about the fact that our this
little this little stub and now was
gonna be in the entire animation it will
fix that in just a sec we're gonna
animate the visibility of that bar in
just a sec so let's see how long it
should take maybe two three eighty I'll
tap s again and I can move my mouse out
and it'll loop across very nicely so you
know what's going off one side of my
screen over here it goes on the other
side and we'll go to write about there
matching up with the n roughly good so
now we have the bar expanding out we
don't want the bars to expand out at the
exact same time though so we're not
going to match it up at three forty
maybe at three fifty five or so we'll
start this animation I'm already in pose
mode of that armature so I just got to
make sure that these bones cannot be
scaled at all
and I'll go to 355 and I'll tap s I'll
zoom in and make it a little nub there
and then I want to see that it's gonna
be about the same speed maybe a little
bit longer because it's a longer bar and
I'll tap s and again I my nose can loop
there we go and there how is that well
you know what I think I would have gone
in Reverse I think that's what's
happening there so I'm going to go s
what's happening
yeah I gotta reverse by accident so oh
make sure that doesn't happen
this time so if we zoom in we have
corners again yeah I'm not sure maybe
you can maybe you spotted my mistake
a few months ago great so we should have
an animation at this point let's go
ahead and zoom out and see how it looks
we've got the letter slowly coming in
yes they do have an interpolation mode
that means they start off slow and they
speed up and they slow down I might
actually change that in a moment but I
actually like the fact that they are
coming in slowly at the end and I think
that the bars expanding might be too
slow it might be too delayed let's do
that again
yeah I think that is too slow and too
delayed so I'm going to take those
armature keyframes and they're gonna
start sooner and they're gonna be scaled
down I would be s key I can scale down
tonight no quicker so let's see how that
looks
yeah that looks fine to me
so we're doing pretty good I'll do a
quick save all right so let's go ahead
and animate the camera now and this is
where you really actually sell the whole
intro so at the very beginning we see a
pointy section and I use the R for that
so I'm gonna start off with my camera
very very close to the R so I'll put it
up there at the beginning again we have
Auto key frame insertion turned up so
wherever you move the camera at whatever
time is where the camera will beeps that
creates our animation this is the only
time actually that the camera will start
off lower than the letter so we're
actually gonna go through the bottom of
the are there and so you'll notice that
it's clipping a little bit once it gets
that close it cuts off and that's
actually a combination of the start and
end clipping in your viewport so I have
to go to this viewport and change the
clipping to make sure it's not cutting
off onto the view section just in the
viewport but also with the camera
selected under the camera tab I'm gonna
change that start value to 0 so now we
can get closer to the object and not
have to worry about it and I'll move
that over a little bit and you can hold
shift I believe or control why is it
moving they're in the wrong direction
yeah if you hold shift you can do it
more precisely I'm gonna move it down a
little bit and or on the y-axis and then
down so it's actually looking through
there and then the camera is gonna go up
a little bit so I'm gonna go it's maybe
about frame 40 or so and the cameras
gonna go up and it's gonna track along
that's gonna follow along with the AR
and I think maybe I'm gonna move over a
little bit too so let's see how that
looks
I like it let's see how it looks when we
just watch it so it's going quite quick
now I actually don't like that so I'm
going to move this keyframe down I'm
gonna select it and press G and move it
because I'd only want a few cuts in here
we don't want to have too quick of shots
or anything moving too quickly so as we
scrub through it's not gonna look very
good but I have to play it with the Alt
key and why is that happening I'm
actually I changed my viewport over here
from render to material viewport shading
I think that's why it got quite jittery
there let's watch it again yeah so it's
fine now right about there it's too high
up on the art so I'm gonna move that
down we want things to be moving very
nice and slowly okay so the camera is
moving and in kind of a funny way I'm
gonna do this are and then I'm gonna
speed up the video as we're going
through and I'm gonna stop at certain
points so you can hear me but this parts
gonna be quite fast going through for
the sake of this tutorial I don't like
how this bar is right there so I'm gonna
move the camera over a little bit and
see how we're doing here so it's gonna
go up and then I don't like how it's
going down on the the R right there so
I'm gonna move it up a little bit and I
think that because of the keyframe
interpolation so I'm actually going to
select these two keyframes and I'm gonna
press T on my keyboard and I'm gonna
change the interpolation to linear and
hopefully that will change how it
smooths out yeah it changed it quite a
bit we can now see it's going up and
it's not doing like a curve in terms of
how the cameras moving
so if I do that now you can see it's
moving in a straight line which is more
easy to predict and control sorry about
there and like that yeah that's a lot
better I like it and so we're only going
to hear it'll start going past the
camera right there which is okay because
we're gonna switch where the camera is
from one keyframe the next so do I like
that yeah I don't know actually be a
little bit too long of a clip so I'll
make that shorter of course I have to
adjust where it is at this point so
maybe you're like that okay so at frame
66 that is where this shot will end so
I'm gonna use my arrow keys on my
keyboard I'm gonna go to frame 67 now
we're gonna switch over to another
letter so I think at this point I'm
going to go down to the end so I'll
press seven on my numpad to go to this
windows top orthographic view and at
frame 67 I'm gonna animate the camera
moving straight down to this location so
let's go and see what what it's doing
there if I I had this viewport set to
lock camera to view so if I scroll down
it'll zoom out which is okay because I
wanted to be a bit higher up at this
point although still pretty close let's
see what's going on here
maybe I want at this point the end to go
past the camera just like that although
not too quick so I'm gonna move that
over there and again we're at frame 67 I
don't mind where this where this is
let's go I've heard the same length of
cut so like that to make this the same
distance as this and I want to follow
that in down a little bit so let's see
how that is let's watch it
yeah okay so I kind of like that speed I
kind of want to see the tip of this in
right there so I'm gonna move the camera
now we a little bit let's see how that
looks it could be it's it's faster now
but let's see how it looks okay I'm kind
of happy with that I think I might go
too far and make that animation of the
camera too fast so I'm going to move it
up a little bit and that way a little
bit let's see how that looks okay so
it's sped up right there but that's okay
we're going to move the camera again I'm
going to speed up the video at this
point and I'm gonna go and cover a few
the other letters especially where
things get close to one another where
that old crosses the B I want to cover
that I also want to cover some of the G
so we're going to do the second part the
video and we'll come back once we've
animated all the shots I will point out
the fiddle I'm not gonna keep the camera
at the same distance from the letters
I'm gonna gradually move the camera out
so the bars of the letters will get
smaller and that's okay by the end my
last shot of course we're have a wide
shot of the entire word so we want to
gradually move out to that distance but
stay fairly close and at this point
all right so I took about 10 minutes but
I animated out my camera movement you'll
notice again that there are sets of two
keyframes that's because you'll see the
camera actually just slowly move over
here you can see it move as you watch
the or through the camera over here
it'll move slowly and then it'll jump
because we have two keyframes right next
to each other on frame 66 and 67 and
then nearby next to each other frames in
pairs as we move along you'll notice
that these shots actually start longer
and get tighter or shorter and shorter
and shorter as we move along and that's
a very common thing in a city but I mean
you want to start slowing they getting
it faster and faster to get things
moving more intensely for the fewer so
let's go ahead and press play or off to
a on our keyboards to take a look at the
animation over here and you could watch
the camera jumping around over here so
we have the N and the O and the C and E
and moving in the R and then I quite
like how fast that B was moving in that
shot but as you can see we're sort of
jumping around the different letters and
we get that nice animation of them all
coming together at the end and then the
bar is coming out notice how from on my
animation frame 293 up until frame 408
or so the camera is pulling out slowly
and then I have this last keyframe I
selected it and press T on my keyboard
and I set the keyframe interpolation to
bezzie a so that it would hopefully kind
of come to a stop not quite so abruptly
in the end I'm not sure if it's a cue
from that I have to actually do that
with but it seems to be pretty good to
me then we just have a still section at
the end for the user to see the title
and for maybe it to fade out to video or
something like that at the end of the
animation the last thing I'll say here
before we do a little bit of test
rendering is you will notice in these
lasts many frames its last section that
the glowing and the unevenness caused by
that noise texture it is too static so
we're actually going to animate the UV
map rotating so that the dark areas and
light
they're not always in the same spot
let's go and check that out I'll go to
one of the later frames I'll do a quick
save actually and I look at my camera
tab and we'll do a quick render out and
of course it's gonna be up here one of
my hidden windows so you can see some
lighter areas and darker areas and it's
still processing out and we've got some
nice probably too much separation there
what that's nice and flawed let's go
back to our compositing nodes I might
turn that down that dispersion in the
lattice distortion down to 0.6 and so
we'll see hopefully that effect once it
processes will get less there we go and
be even something like 0.4 and you can
even animate this value so what's higher
when we're closer up and then at the end
it's lower you create keyframes for any
of these values but as this is backing
off in this last section in effect I'm
going to make this dope sheet not as
tall I'm gonna make this viewport be
rendered you're gonna see that you don't
want these areas to be static where this
dark versus light so I'm actually gonna
go back to my material nodes and I'm
gonna select one one of the letters and
it's this emission this noise that's
affecting the strength of the emission
that I want to actually rotate now it's
using a UV map when we unwrapped the
entire word for the positioning of the
clouds but in between the UV map and the
noise texture I'm gonna insert a mapping
node so I'll press shift a on my
keyboard I'm gonna add and I believe
it's under vector and mapping and I'll
put it right in the middle of that
noodle and this is going to effect again
all of the objects at the same time
because they're all using the exact same
material now
the UV map for all the objects is
plugged into it so let's go ahead and
zoom in on that so we can see what's
happening here
if I rotate on the z axis the UV map
you're gonna see the dark area see the
beat that at lower part of the other
part of that be
if I rotate this maybe ten degrees and
press Enter
you're gonna see that disappear you're
gonna see the whole cloud texture
rotated that's exactly what I want so
I'm gonna go back to zero that little
dark and you'll go back I don't want to
enemy it too quickly though I'm gonna
animated over the entire thing actually
am I'm gonna animate it in that last
sequence and that last shot that last
shot actually ends at 4 starts rather at
frame 293 so a 293 I'm going to animate
this value so I'll tap I mouse over that
little section and it'll be 0 and then
I'll go to frame 460 and the first time
I tried this I animated it 180 degrees
over that number of frames roughly and
it was way too much so I'm only going to
get about 25 degrees and I'll tap I I
think I already have automatic keyframe
and session tone so I don't have to but
there we go so now if I look at this
frame we have a dark area there and it's
kind of darker here but later on it's
not dark in the same spot so that's what
I want and you know what I think I'm
pretty much good to go if I go to a
keyframe let's see how things look at
the very beginning we're going through
the are there I'll tap render we'll see
how that looks ok I'll go ahead and take
a look at this window in full screen I
hope my mouse in that window and I'll
press control up arrow on my keyboard
and that way I can zoom in see we can
see how things look on the only thing I
don't really like here is how white and
the speckles are so I don't know I'm
being really picky here but actually I'm
gonna adjust the lighting here so I'll
select my lamp look at my lap tab I'm
gonna make this a bit more Orange
in fact as we go through and we look at
other letters let's say we go to the top
view so we can see where our lights are
if I go to the B where does we do it
where we see that B there we go if I
look at that shot I'm gonna bet that
that B is going to be very speckle T at
all so to get more speckling as' on that
beat us got actually see what it looks
like first
yeah it's very uniform we're not gonna
agree many speckles on and that's
because there's no light nearby so I'm
actually gonna go back to the beginning
I'm gonna put light so I'm just gonna
duplicate that lamp I'll press shift to
you with it selected I'll put a lamp
there I'm just gonna kind of tile the
lamps around so it kind of covers the
whole area I don't have to worry about
it at all so now if I go to rate they're
very beginning we're gonna get more
speckles right there so let's go and see
how that looks
yeah we've got more speckles there that
looks pretty good let's go to a later
part in the animation there it is
actually rendered maybe I don't want
that one so I'll delete it and we'll go
to a later frame with the N which is
down there and I see how that looks
and again I'm getting a lot of speckles
here and that's just because of the
intensity that I set up of that glossy
shader on the object so this row I have
a quite amount of contrast on the
speckles and I have the mix shader' set
to a certain value to have a certain
amount of speckles what I might do is I
might go to these lamps and turn them
down a bit they're out a hundred right
now maybe I'll turn them down to twenty
five depending on where they are so
maybe that one will be the original 100
but then maybe that one will be a
hundred pardon me and then maybe this
lower one that's over the N will be only
twenty five so now we have less speckles
and if I render that out it looks pretty
darn good to me let's do a quick save so
ctrl s and click the very very last step
before we render out and I'll show you
the render settings that I would use is
to add our music now I didn't want to
use the official copyrighted music from
the stranger things opening but that
song happens to sound a lot like a song
that you can get for free from YouTube
this is my YouTube account I'm not gonna
go to any other tabs but if you go to
your YouTube creator studio up here by
clicking on your icon you can find the
creator studio and then go down to
create an audio library this is where
could actually get hundreds of songs
that you're allowed to use royalty-free
in your YouTube videos that you can
actually go ahead and download so I
found one
it's called you make me feel by mk2 and
it's very 80s sound like a piece of
music that you heard of beginning this
video so if you go ahead and download it
on my desktop if I minimize everything
right here I've got that mp3 file to rec
from YouTube I can put it into my
animation by actually bringing up and
I'm gonna divide this dopesheet window
into two side by side I'm gonna bring up
my video sequence editor window there it
is of course this window has three modes
it has just the video sequencer and then
it has the video preview and then it has
both but I only need the sequencer I am
gonna add and I'm gonna add a sound I'm
gonna find it on my desktop and click on
add sound strip so now I have that mp3
in this timeline of course my playhead
was not at frame one unfortunately so
I'm gonna just right click on it to
select it I'll press G to grab it and
I'll put it back to frame 1 right there
now I want to trim off the end because
our animation only goes to frame and I
believe if I go to view and I uncheck
show seconds it's showing me a funny
value here on that playhead 18 plus 19
doesn't exactly tell me a whole lot so
show seconds there we go it's turned off
now so now I can see we're at frame 460
right there so if I scroll down I can
right click on this little arrow at the
end I can press G and I can trim it that
way
so I'm gonna put it down to the boat 460
and I can put it right there now if I
want that music to fade out I'm gonna
drag this down so we can make this
taller I want maybe it's a fade-out
starting at maybe frame 420 or so what I
can do is open up the side panel in this
window and I can animate the volume
of this and I'll click on draw waveform
so you can kind of see I'm gonna animate
it the volume going down so I'm gonna
press I my mouse in this little section
I'll tap I I'll go to frame 460 I'll
turn this down to zero and I'll tap I in
fact I think I saw auto key payment
session turned on so I don't think I
need to so now it'll fade out so now if
I drag my playhead back to the very
beginning and I turn my viewport
shooting over here from rendered to just
material so we can see basically what's
going on with having to render and I
press alt a intellectually play through
the animation with the music so I can
kind of get a sense of what's going to
happen of course we're not looking at a
finished rendered version were to seeing
the viewport shading materials let's go
ahead and press play

okay so it looks pretty darn good to me
I actually just noticed that we have not
hidden these little bar nubs so I want
to do that so I'll press seven to go to
my top view and I'm gonna select that
little nub there and we'll find it in
our outliner window up here there under
the armatures so when you have a mesh
parent into an armature or actually any
thing parent to do anything else it'll
be in kind of a tree over here so this
plane which is actually the bottom one I
think oops that plane is actually a
child of the armature in that little
tree so I'm gonna animate the visibility
right here you can actually animate just
with the I key again this little camera
here so if I go back to where it starts
it's gonna start at what frame is
actually start animating we can kind of
use our arrow keys and go through so at
frame 333 it should be hidden and that
frame 334 it should be visible so that
333 I'm gonna select that object in the
outliner I'll put my mouse over here
I'll click on the camera to make it
invisible and I'll tap I on my keyboard
and there it is it turns yellow that
means it's a keyframe on it and then
I'll go to the very next frame frame 334
I'll turn the visibility on and I'll tap
I and I think it didn't need that
because auto-keyframe insertion is still
turned on so now if I render out it will
not be visible and you can see it's
faded out over there and then at frame
334 you can see as I scrub through it
becomes visible so would be the same
thing again for the top bar actually
wasn't the top bar
no I just can't see it because of
cameras in the way select that one under
armature 0:01 it selected now and when
does it start it's so it's at a
different time so it starts at frame
3:40 I'll say and 341 it's just about to
start so at 3:40 it's going to be
invisible and I'll tap I over here in
the outliner window and then at frame
341 I'll make it visible and I'll tap I
even though I haven't Auto key frame
insertion turned on so now hopefully
yeah I can scrub through and watch it
it's not gonna show up until I render so
if I do a quick render right now at
frame 321 I'll go the camera tab and
press render we do not see the little
bars and then we'll go to frame a later
frame let's say oh we have to wait for
it to process the glowing let's go to
frame 300 and that's way let's see where
it actually shows both of them right
about there
and we'll do a quick render we can see
the bars now are both there and on their
way out so I think we're pretty much
done here the last thing I'll do is talk
about render settings I'm wondering at
1920 by 1080 of course under the camera
tab that's 1080p on most high def TVs
and on YouTube make sure you turn your
scale up to 100 if you leave it at 50
which it is by default you'll only get a
video that's 1/4 of the size of 1080p
which is not what you want probably make
sure your start frame an end frame are
set correctly these two values are tied
to these two down here in terms of your
format you might want to render out to a
sequence of images by default blender
sets the output format to PNG images
which are still images which of course
will not include your audio down here
but you might want to change that
depending on the speed of your computer
and how long you're willing to wait to
h.264 that's the codec the video codec
that most modern devices and YouTube and
most web video services use h.264 is the
video codec and then under encoding I
would select mpeg-4 this encoding
section only comes up when you choose an
appropriate movie type it's not there
when you select PNG so just be careful
there h.264 and mpeg-4 but do not forget
if you are gonna render out to a movie
and you have your audio clip down here
that you actually need to enable an
audio codec and I use AAC that's very
very common of course you've probably
heard of mp3 but it's also a c3 I use
AAC most the time it works out pretty
well 192 is a good bit rate for most
audio for most purposes the only thing I
might change here to get a better
quality is I might change this 6000
that's the bitrate of the video up to a
higher number like 10,000 or 12,000
depending on the quality of the video
that I need this is quite a short videos
only 460 frames long so I don't mind
having a larger file size let's go ahead
and do a quick save ctrl s I'm gonna go
ahead and go back up herself and render
but of course before I do I'm gonna
choose my output location by default
it's set to temp I don't want that so
I'll go just to my desktop and I'm gonna
call this the second bar is my file name
I'm gonna call this born CG stranger
things and then I'll put a dash at the
end so that the frame numbers get put
after that I wish blender automatically
does when you render out an animation
I'll click on accept and let's go ahead
and do a quick save again and I'll click
render and we'll come back in just a
moment and see how this render turned
out okay we finished rendering out let's
go ahead and see how it looks
