okay today i'ma show you how to get out
additional effects and transitions for
the windows movie maker I know a lot of
us still use it you know there's some
better programs out there better
software for editing video but most of
us keep on using Windows Movie Maker
because of how easy it is to use well to
make it a whole lot better i'm going to
show you a website where you can get
more facts and more transitions
absolutely free okay first of all start
off let's make a new folder we're going
to do a right click then go to New go to
folder and we're going to name the
folder like this
add-on tfx then we're going to put this
folder into the windows movie maker okay
first of all we go to the computer click
on your C Drive go to program files now
look for movie maker it's right here
movie maker open up the shared folder
and you're going to throw it in here I
have it in here already so am I going to
put the other one other see you throw it
in here am I ask you for administrator
access to do this so just go ahead and
click on it order enter your computer as
an administrator and go ahead and put
the file in there ok once you've done
this now you go to the website i gave
you the link in the video description so
when you're there check this up there's
all kinds of transitions fix these are
all made by users by people who post
them up here on this website on this
forum to share with other users ok let's
choose a random one let me see how about
let's see which one actually works not
all of them will work ok so you got to
keep on trying and see which one's work
for your some of them are for download
they're not even though the code what
we're looking for is one with the xml
code i'll show you colors your clips and
varies use how about this one let's see
okay here we go let's try this on copy
this whole thing the whole document oops
a copy long up to here okay
let's hope this works now we go back to
our desktop and we're going to open up
on a notepad clean document and we're
going to paste the whole code in there
the only copy ok now we're going to save
this go file save as we're going to name
it something thats related to what the
effect does and most important we're
going to encode it like this dot XML ok
that's very important for this to work
save it like that and you should get a
document out here see ok now we're going
to go back and put it in the folder we
created remember the add-on tfx we go to
computer go to your disk go to program
files movie maker
share a don t FX ok we're going to throw
it in here let's see if this works okay
close this now we go to our movie maker
and we're going to open it up see if the
effect is a perfect okay see these I
have put in here before
color change to blue
see color chance to grow
color change to purple
color change to red okay so lucky for us
this won't work okay and you can keep on
looking through that one website look to
all the different posts see which one's
work look for ones you like and try them
