How to paint bubbles watercolor Video Lecture - Master the Art of Watercolour

hi there Lindsay here the frugal crafter
and I wanted to share this painting with
you because it's a brand-new tutorial I
have for sale in my shop it's a
printable PDF tutorial but I wanted to
share a quick tip with you and that's
how I made the bubbles in the water here
this painting isn't quite yet finished
but I wanted to share this technique
because I think it'll be a little easier
to follow having a a video portion of
this so here is a circle template you
can get any drafting supply store and
this technique is great for doing
bubbles on a painting or even doing like
bubbles on a scrapbook page so you want
to work on something where you have
quite a bit of paint and then you want
to take a stencil brush or a stiff oil
painting brush or anything that's really
you know got stiff bristles don't use
your expensive watercolor brushes for
this you're blotting off the extra water
and then you're simply going to scrub
the area that you want to lighten and
it's removing the paint from the surface
then you want to blot it with your dry
towel and there you have a perfect
bubble now let me dry this real quick
and I'll show you how to enhance the
edges doesn't really take long to dry it
you're doing it with my heat gun you can
use a hairdryer if you don't have a heat
gun almost dry all right then I'm going
to take a flat or angular brush I'm
gonna make sure it's nice and clean I'm
gonna pinch off the extra water not over
my painting folks I don't want to drop
of water on there and I'm loading just
the corner of that brush with paint and
then I can go right around the edge and
you give it a very subtle side-loaded
shadow and that will look like a nice
little water bubble in my kind of
abstract dish koi painting here this is
a traditional transparent watercolor
tutorial that you can purchase in my
