what's going on guys welcome back to the
channel in this video I'm gonna go over
to good product examples to show you
guys but a good product looks like from
my numbers perspective so I know you
guys now know what you're looking for in
a product and what makes a good product
but now I'm gonna give you some
real-life examples so when you see these
numbers for yourself you know if it's a
good product or not in the next video
I'm gonna hop into quickly right after
this it's gonna give you guys some bad
examples just so you guys are aware of
reading the bad numbers as well so let's
just hop in the computer here and this
is something I get like people send me
these screenshots every day they're
numbers and stats and I think a lot of
people don't really fully understand how
to read the numbers and what a good
product looks like from a numbers
perspective so I'm just gonna show you
guys right now here are two good product
examples so this first one I'm not gonna
go over how I found these products I'll
go over those in the product research
videos which are coming up a few videos
from now but I just want to show you
when I runs almost go on these products
what the actual numbers look like so if
you look here these are all pretty much
the same product that's something I like
to make sure when I'm running the
keyword is that all the products here
are actually similar or the same another
than one drug let's go and go over these
numbers for you so we're just gonna go
from left to right and we'll work our
way down so as you can see right off the
bat we see the top here $40 is the
average price that does fit our
impulse-buy range so that's a good price
point where we want to be average sales
rank 26,000 not bad I've read reviews
151 but when I looked down the line here
I can see that one has a lot of reviews
so this might skew the data and in fact
this product is not even the same was
all these other products it's like
something that goes with these products
so I would submit this product all
together and just ignore when we're
looking down the line so first of all we
see all Dermer same product then we see
brand name no really dominant brand here
there's a few names that pop up a few
times like char miner and Selene
Chandler's come up a couple of times but
really no dominant dominant person in
this market then we see price obviously
the price fits where we want to be
somewhere but higher price points some
are a bit lower and I know
just because this product has different
versions or some that have batteries
some batteries built-in so I know that's
the reason for this nothing to worry
about their category sports and outdoors
this is a category we like and I think
it's a good category to get into as a
beginner beginning seller granny looks
good sales we see lots of consistent
sales volume all the way through down
the line majority of the first 12
listing they all have it and even this
one I believe if we go to the next page
let's see even if we go to the next page
some of these some of them have low
sales but some are still pulling in good
sales numbers so I'm looking over into
the revenue the revenue in these ones is
awesome this is one of the best revenue
products I think you can find with a
quick search so 32,000 right there
twenty thousand twenty thousand thirteen
twelve twenty thousand so lots of good
numbers for the revenue so revenue looks
good and then we move over to the
reviews column we see all of the reviews
are good I eight of the first twelve
majority of the first twelve have under
100 reviews only a couple with a little
bit more but even 137 and 153 I don't
think is a crazy number of reviews and I
think you can still come in here and
actually take this top spot if you were
to go with this product so this one of
course the reviews are higher but like I
said we still make that product because
it isn't the same as for rating none of
them have five stars so there's room for
improvement all of these four stars four
and a half two and a half lots of room
for improvement especially ones like
this like two and a half stars still
doing 2500 in sales the lots of room for
improvement there and these are all our
FBA sellers so you will you just have an
idea of who your competition is
sometimes you can see those products
they match basically what we're looking
for everything looks pretty good the
only thing I would be worried about
would be this product in particular it
could be a safety concern it is an
electronic so I wouldn't recommend
really going with electronic product
that requires batteries for your first
product though it's not a deal breaker
if you guys are really interested in
this product you can always do your
research and check it out I'd also make
sure that there's no patents
this trademarks of course and it has
checked seasonality as well so that's
one good product example for you guys if
you have any questions about that one
let me know in the comments below and
then I'm going to give you guys one more
good product example so here's another
product I found that the numbers look
pretty good so it's a 3d other than
basketball so I'm just going to run
jungle scout for a before I do you can
see this one here this sponsored one is
a Batman one so don't worry about any
sponsored ads because these people
that's just obviously are targeting the
wrong keywords or maybe they're
purposely trying to get people who want
basketballs to buy their Batman one but
they just paid for this ad and obviously
they can take out o make the word
basketball as a negative keyword sorry I
didn't use basketball as a negative
keyword so which is probably coming up
for illusion lamp so I'm just gonna run
jungle Scout here and go over these
numbers so you can see here average
price $20 so perfect right where we want
to be average reviews on this one is
really low only 14 which is awesome if
you guys are pulling in good numbers so
let's take a look so first of all we see
brand brand there's no dominant brand so
lots of room for us to come in price we
already know that refers to $20 and look
at all these they they're all the prices
are similar there's a couple that are
higher I think this one for some reason
yeah it's a little bit different could
even go to the next page if we wanted to
but I'm guessing this product doesn't
have much on this page you see cheaper
price points say it's still similar
price category there's sort of a wide
variety here because people just put
them in different categories so they
could try to dominate those specific
categories with their product but it
doesn't really matter too much dairy
product all the categories are fine for
us to get into nothing gated or anything
like that ranked all the ranks or decent
sales this one I would say we would be a
little bit I would be pretty concerned
about this actually so you can see the
sales this one
this one has 761 sales and they're
pulling in $15,000 a month revenue which
is good but the problem is so this one
here is okay 493 $8,000 still good but
then on the third rank listing they're
already really poor ranking under five
sales a month $165 they're basically
making no money a month with only one
review though but clearly they're not
doing very well and probably having this
one-star review doesn't help so let's
see a couple of them here this one looks
to be doing okay 788 revenue 113 sorry
13,000 there are a couple of good ones
here but actually this product is not as
good as I thought it was going to be
basically the the first couple of
listings look like they're doing well
but you can see that the sales really
drop off here once we actually look into
it a bit more so the reviews are low yes
the price point is right the sales drop
off far too quickly if you look at eight
of the first twelve listings don't even
make a thousand dollars a month or sorry
don't even make two thousand dollars a
month
majority of these listings are making
quite a low number of sales there's only
really three sellers that are making
good money off this product so that's
one thing you definitely look out for
and I would not recommend going with
this product so even the ratings here
you can see a lot of these guys they
don't have reviews so they don't have
ratings could be the opportunity there
this pot it's possible this is a newer
product and these other guys aren't just
haven't picked up their sales yet but
personally I don't think that's the case
you'd want to research this more and
make sure this product is actually a
good non seasonal product then or check
when this product was launched so I'll
show you guys how to do that in a future
video but this is not a good product to
go for so I guess in this video we only
got one good product example but I guess
you guys have seen now me look through
this products what I thought was going
to be a good product and you can see why
I decided it is not a good product to go
for so now in the next video I'm gonna
get straight into some other bad
products and products it might appear to
be okay and why they're not
and a little bit more detail on that so
