I'm just gonna get into this video so
this video is about how to track your
competitor sales and this is something
you're gonna want to make sure you do
before you actually order your inventory
just to make sure that the number you
see on Jungels got you check out and
that products are actually selling and
then you're not gonna end up buying
inventory for a product that's not
actually moving the volume it seems that
it is on jungle scalp so the method I'm
going to show you is the only way to
really check the actual sales jungle
Scout and the other programs like
amazing things like that they're basing
those sales numbers off the best seller
ranking so there's no actual for sure
sales numbers but in this it'll show you
the most accurate way of tracking sales
let's go in the computer here so just a
quick reminder before I actually show
you this technique if you guys are
planning on downloading the jungle scalp
Chrome extension or the web app I'd
really appreciate it if you use my

guys free content okay so for this
example I'm gonna be using a
bachelorettes sash I know it doesn't
really matter jungle scope criteria the
price is too low and I didn't even run
the Chrome extension so I don't know
exactly what it would look like bronze
can use this as an example just because
I don't think anyone's gonna do it but I
know it's a popular product for someone
FBA sellers so yeah it's take an example
product so what we're gonna do to track
our competitor sales if we were
interested in doing this technique what
we're gonna do is we're gonna type in
the most broad key term for the product
that we're interested in doing it in the
search bar and then once we find the
best listings or the top list of
top-selling products where this this is
keyword what we're gonna do is just
we're gonna add them to cart so I've
already added these ones at the top so
I'm just gonna go with this one and I'm
just gonna press Add to Cart once you've
added it to your cart you're gonna go to
just to your open up your cart here
you can see sorry I party on this one in
but I'll show you guys what it would
look like so you originally you'd have
one product in your cart and what you're
gonna just do is go to quantity and
change that to ten plus and then from
there you games like $9.99 so 999 units
is the most you can add to your cart for
a particular product and then we're
gonna press update and you can see here
this little warning is gonna pop up it
says there's only two hundred twenty
three of these available so what that
means is that the dis seller doesn't
even have 999 units they only have two
hundred twenty three units left in stock
so if we were to do this daily we'd be
able to see the difference in inventory
and based on that be able to see the
sales so for example if today they had
two hundred twenty three units and
tomorrow they had two hundred units we
know that they sold twenty three units
over that day you know what we're gonna
do is you can use multiple products in
the same category or multiple of the
same product by different sellers so I
sort of here took all of the different
bride or bus fare and sashes that I
thought were sitting in the top five and
then what I did is we're just gonna take
these out into the cart and we're just
going to update this cart daily and see
how many units each product sells on a
daily basis so now we see we have two
hundred twenty three units so what we're
gonna do we're gonna make an Excel chart
that looks like this
so I've already focused in for you guys
just to show you an example of what it
would look like what I like to do is on
the left hand side here just put the
product name you can see this is the one
that we just dealt with I'll highlight
this road just so it's easier for you
guys to see what we get as an example
and then I like to put a link here just
in case for whatever reason you want to
go back to the listing in the case that
you do want to it's just quick and easy
what I usually do though is just I add
the items to the cart for about five
days and then every day just go back and
update their listing the carts the
listings in the cart if for whatever
reason though you had too many products
in your cart it only lets you add so
many so if I were to order like 999 of
all these it wouldn't actually let me so
this is just an easy way to go back and
then I'd be add these to the cart on a
daily basis if you want to do that so
you can see I've been tracking here for
this first one happy time bride sash I
just go down the line every day you can
see how adjusted
inventory so you can sort of see a
consistent pattern between each day so
for today
these numbers are fake I just put them
in just as an example we can see 223
units so now we can see the pattern that
this one's been selling quite a good
amount every single day so we know there
actually is sales volume and the product
is actually selling so you could do this
either for a bunch of products by
different sellers so if you want to do
all the bride sashes you could do that
or if you were interested in looking at
other products maybe I was interested in
a bride sash or some photo booth props I
can just put different products here and
track them but basically what we're
looking for is just a pattern to make
sure there's actual movement the only
problem and the only x method is not
going to work is if they have a seller
limit so if there's a seller limit so a
buyer limit which is when the bought the
seller has limited how many of their
product you can buy per transaction so
for example if they limit me to five of
their product I could have five to Cart
if I tried to in the nine nine nine and
say it would say I'm limited to only
five products and I wouldn't be able to
do this method yeah the only other time
is what happens if they had say a two
thousand inventory it would always just
say 999 available because you can't add
more than 999 so in those two cases
there is another way to estimate the
sales based on the best seller ranking
which I'm gonna go over in the next
video when I cover seasonality as well
but other than that this is the most
effective way to actually find true
inventory and turn that in to convert
them to actual sales so you can see the
real numbers and not just something
based on a program algorithm so I hope

important before you actually order your
product because if for whatever reason
journalist code numbers we're off you
don't want to be buying inventory and
wasting your money so yeah make sure you
