what's going on guys and welcome back to
my channel in this video I'll be going
over how to find the best suppliers on
Alibaba so let's get straight into the
video here for those of you who aren't
familiar with Alibaba like I mentioned
in my last video it is possibly the
biggest wholesale supply website on the
Internet and basically you can get
anything done here from customizations
to full product development to adding
your logo cousin packaging everything
you'll need for Amazon FBA so there are
other websites that you could use to
find products like th gate I know that's
another popular one but from what I know
Alibaba is the most popular and I've had
it launch such a success using it in the
past so that's what I'm going to be
showing you guys today it's also very
common for most other Amazon FBA sellers
to be using this website as well so
you'll probably run into a lot of the
products you see on Amazon on this
website so what we're gonna do we're on
Amazon or Ali Baba's website are you
freaking his type in the product that
we're looking for so continuing with an
example I showed you guys in one of my
previous videos let's just go with
Bachelorette stash and see what comes up
for this product so you can pretty much
search anything that you're looking for
here whether it's fidget spinners
Bachelorette stash Photo Booth props
whatever it may be and you'll get a huge
list of different suppliers here so
there's really thousands and thousands
of suppliers most likely for the
products you're looking for so what
we're gonna want to do is narrow that
down because there's no way we're gonna
mess it all all of these suppliers so
the first thing I'm gonna do is look at
this gold supplier icon up here and just
check this so it'll be a gold supplier
on Alibaba these sellers do have to pay
a membership so you do know if they're
paying a membership to be a part of the
gold supplier club that they are wanting
to grow their business on Alibaba and
they are serious about doing
transactions here the next thing we're
gonna do is we're gonna hit the assess
supplier button assess suppliers will
always be found for your products
sometimes depending on your product
there might not be in any SS suppliers
but what that means that there's been an
inspection of their warehouse or their
business and they've passed and that
they are a reliable seller so not
everyone has this a lot of businesses
don't that can still be very good but if
you have the opportunity and there are
still results I'd click assess supplier
so you can see here I've clicked it and
there's only one and it's not really
product that I'd be into I don't like
that how that looks so I'm gonna unclick
that analyst look through
suppliers again here another quick trick
that you guys can use in order to just
narrow down to suppliers is click the
suppliers button here so what this does
is shows you the actual suppliers that
have this product if you just wanted
products you're gonna see thousands of
listings because one supplier might list
twenty different listings and you're
gonna see all of those and scroll past
all of them if you just click suppliers
you can see it's really narrowed it down
a lot to only sixty six suppliers so
these are all the suppliers that carry
these products so you can see when we go
to products it doesn't even say how many
there are but I know that there are
hundreds of pages here and these can
just go on and on forever
so we can do suppliers if we wanted to
or we can score two products if we know
exactly what we're looking for and we're
looking to see a particular picture a
particular design might be easier to do
it from this view so that's all we
really have to do to find a supplier
another thing I like to see but not 100%
necessary is I like to see they've done
transactions here through Alibaba this
just means that they've actually
accepted payments through Alibaba
through trade assurance which I
explained in the last video I do like to
use because I know my money is protected
the other alternative is using PayPal so
just because they don't have any
transaction on Alibaba does not mean
they're not a good supplier it just
means they accept payments through other
other ways but personally I prefer
Paynter Alibaba or PayPal for my first
transaction just to make sure that we
don't get ripped off and we don't lose
any money by using those protection
plans we know that we're gonna get some
sort of protection then mitigate the
risk that we have while sending our
payment to our first supplier we also
want to make sure that we're not sending
them wire transfer for our first payment
because that could be very bad as
they're just trying to scam you most of
them aren't but just in case you'd want
to take precautions and make sure that
you're safe and the thing to keep an eye
out that I don't want you guys to focus
too much on is the response rate so a
lot of the time people assume that
having a better response rate means that
the suppliers are better which is not
the case because this is just based on
how they respond how quickly they
respond through Alibaba so maybe you
messages supplier and you tell them to
contact you back by Skype if they don't
respond through Alibaba I leave I was
going to assume that they didn't respond
and lower their response rate meaning
that people think that they're not a
good supplier even though they have
responded to you quickly through another
programmer and if another software
whatever you chose to you to use I just
keep that in mind
really what we're looking for here is
just gold suppliers seeing transactions
is a plus by not necessary response rate
not super important so don't worry about
that but that's all we have to do to
find the supplier quite simple now what
we're gonna do is we're gonna choose our
I guess twenty favourite suppliers or so
and just message them all and once we
get responses done we'll go from there
and we're gonna use templates messaging

are all things that you might risk
losing if you don't or miss might risk
getting ripped off one if you're not
