what's going on guys and welcome back to
the channel if you're new to the channel
welcome as well this is the third
template I'm going to be giving you guys
to communicate with suppliers so if you
haven't seen our already template number
one and two
make sure you check out those videos
before this one because this is in
response to those two templates after we
get our responses from our suppliers so
if you haven't check those out like I
said they'll be the first link in the
description also if you want to download
this template the Facebook group will
also be linked in the description that's
where you can get this file on all my
other documents and files that are
related to this course and that's the
only place I'm giving them out for free
so make sure you check those out the
link for that Facebook group is in the
description as well now you guys should
have a better understanding of the
shipping so when you're negotiating
you'll have a clearer understanding on
what you're looking for and you guys
should also understand ordering samples
so we don't worry about ordering a
sample anymore after we've agreed on a
price after this template then we can go
ahead and order our sample so if you
haven't see my sample video check that
one out as well but for now let's just
go into this template so in the last
template we asked our supplier for the
shipping quotes and the one before that
we got the information on the price per
units it's not what we're gonna do is
we're gonna for the first time mention a
lower quantity that we've never talked
about before and if everything goes well
after this we will be able to order a
sample and then eventually if a sample
goes well we'll be able to put to place
our order so the goal of this message is
that we want to agree on a price for our
first batch of inventory as well as the
shipping price so we want to get that
shipping price down we want to get that
price per unit down and we want to make
sure that they're able to do an order of
250 to 500 units which is the
recommended amount for your first batch
of inventory for Amazon FBA so let's
take a look at this message so they will
have just given us their shipping quotes
so we were just asking for a sample
quote so first up I'm just gonna say hi
to whoever the contact is but I'm gonna
say thank you for sending these quotes
we have been researching this type of
product thoroughly and I think it will
sell very well in our market so we've
already talked about this product um
they already know we're interested but I
just want to tell them again that I
think that this product will sell very
well in our market and so that I'm very
confident that it's a big opportunity
for their business and for our business
to sell in the US or whichever market
you're selling in then I say before
ordering before
order a large quantity would be possible
to do a small test or to test the
quality and get feedback from our
customers to see if we need to make any
product adjustments before the large
order so this is the first time where
I'm talking about a smaller order than a
thousand units or two thousand or five
thousand units so this might catch a lot
of them off-guard because we've already
built the impression that we want to be
ordering in the thousands so this kid
turned some some suppliers off or it can
work very well in your favor so let me
show you guys how I finished this
paragraph off and I'll explain it a
little bit more so if we order 500 units
to test I think everything will work
well and we can order thousands more for
our first bulk order so what I'm doing
in this whole paragraph is really trying
to play off the fact that the first
order is not really a typical order for
us but it's more of a test order so by
doing this rather than just same twist
apply okay I want to order two hundred
fifty five hundred units they'll have
more confidence that you're actually
from a big company because a lot of
companies if you look at like when they
bring out new products they might test
it in certain stores and I'm not going
to be ordering that bulk quantity so
they were just showing them right now
that this is how we do things before we
order in the thousand that we do need a
test order but it's on our first
official order we considered a test
order and we consider it to be a small
order compared to the large orders that
we're gonna be placing in the future I
also tell them that we're testing the
quality and some of them are going to
some suppliers are going to say that
well that's what the samples for we said
we can send you a sample and you can
test the quality there but then I like
to tell them that yes we do like to test
the quality through a sample but we want
to see what our customers think about it
which is why I also add we want to get
customer feedback to see if we need to
make any product adjustments for the
larger order do this again just makes
them feel that we know what we're doing
and we're looking to see if we need to
make any minor changes but we it ensures
them that we are going to be ordering
larger quantities very shortly after
this first batch of inventory you can
also see the way I brought up 500 units
I didn't say can we order 500 as I said
if we order 500 units test I think
everything will work well and then we
can order thousands more so I'm gonna
ask I suggested that this is the best
quantity for us which is the lower
everything works well there can be much
more business for us to work together
then I tell them a little bit more about
what we need here so for the test order
can we please still get the price per
unit based on the higher quantities will
be ordering after the test order once
we've received our customer feedback so
this is showing them again that we will
commit to thousands more in the future
and we are willing to order thousands
more but we just want to see that
they're going to respect us enough in
order to get that lower price point and
to see if they've they have any trust in
us there might be a little bit in the
negotiating here and of course that you
don't maybe get that exact price that
you want but you can negotiate it a lot
more and this is going to put you in a
good position to do so if this is
possible please send me a quote for a
small test order of 500 units with
door-to-door DDP air shipping to this
address so we can place the order as
soon as we receive our sample then you
give them the shipping address thank
them and then you can sign if you want
or depending on how you're talking to
them maybe you don't have to so this
last sentence here
I'm just asking them for a specific
quote based on that 500 units and the
door-to-door shipping so of course we're
not gonna get that lowest price where
every I'm gonna go she ate here a little
bit they're definitely gonna reply and
either telling they can't do that or
they can if they can't you can start a
negotiate in on my next video I'm gonna
give you guys tips for negotiating
because everyone's gonna be different
but there are some strategies that you
can use in order to get the best
opportunity to get the prices in your
favor but those three templates are
generally what I use to contact
suppliers and it's worked very well for
me I know a lot of others reviews them
as well so if you guys have any
questions about those ask me in the
comments or you can ask in the Facebook
group which is linked in the description
as well so that's basically everything I
used to communicate with suppliers of
course there's gonna be a lot of
questions back and forth and more
details that probably are mentioned here
throughout the entire process you might
also have some negotiation which is most
likely going to be the case especially
after you tell them you want a lower
order clarity some are not going to
accept that and that's just the facts
some are willing to so this will help
you a lot in your favorite because now
we know the shipping prices out of
larger quantities we know that unit
prices are the larger quantity so we can
use all of those to our advantage while
negotiating in my next video I'm gonna
give you guys more tips for negotiating
but after this and once you've
established
the quantity if you want to order
whether it's 250 or 500 units once you
have your price for shipping on product
walked in and you know that it's good
then go ahead and pay for the sample
once you get your sample if everything
looks good approve it and then you're
ready to go onto the next step which
I'll be going over in a future video so
