below this is the first official video
in module number 5 where I'm going to be
talking all about creating a powerful
listing so you guys can actually convert
customers into sales and start making
some real money so this video is going
to be more of an overview of the
important aspects of a listing and then
to my future videos it's going to be a
breakdown of each individual part of
listing so we're gonna go in more detail
about pictures keywords and description
all that everything in between how to
differentiate but this one just gonna be
more of a brief overview with an example
at the end of a good product list you
know as well as a bad product listing so
make sure you guys stay watching for
that so first of all what why is it
important to have a good listing of
course this might seem a common
knowledge to a lot of you but we want a
good listing so customers see our
product they can trust us and sellers
and it catches their attention and they
buy right so we want to make sure that
our listing stands out from the
competition so really just stand out
there are a few main things we need to
have done very well to gain our customer
support and build a brand so first of
all you have to have good pictures so
pictures make your listing stand out
it's a professional they can give
customers some trust in you and make
sure they feel like you're a big company
and they think that you're gonna be
selling a high quality product we want
to showcase our product the best we can
and the best way to do that is through
visuals so pictures are gonna be the
person they see when they started by
keyword and they're also gonna be the
person to see when they actually click
through near Lipstein so we have to make
sure that those are done well and that
they show as much information about the
product that we can through those images
next what's really important is a good
title
so in title we want to have our keywords
so we can optimize our listing as well
as so customers can identify that
product we want to make sure it all
makes sense we don't want to just throw
a bunch of keywords in the title to try
to rank for those keywords we want to
make sure that it flows nicely and their
appeals to customers
looks still clean and professional then
when people actually click through to
your listing you want to make sure that
your bullet points are good so a lot of
people who misuse bullet misuse these
bullet points and I really bothers me
because coming from a marketing
background we want to make sure that if
we're giving the opportunity to give
information about our product and
showcase our product we want to make the
most of it so we don't want to just have
for example like a bullet point that
says 5 centimeters by 5 centimeter
product like that doesn't tell our
customers much we can put that in the
description and make better use of those
bullet points because that's kind of
people it really catches people's eyes
when they scroll down your listing next
is the description the description a lot
of people don't know how to make it look
nice and they don't know what to put
here so I'm gonna go over that as well
and then lastly if you want to make sure
are listening from the back end is cute
is optimized for the keywords so when
people actually search our listing they
can find it and we can rank up on those
keywords and eventually it hoped to be
either the best-selling product or one
of the best-selling products for our
keywords so let's hop into the computer
here and I'll show you guys an example
of what I think is a pretty good listing
there is still some room for improvement
here which don't worry you guys I'm
gonna cover this in the future videos
but I'll show you guys what I do like
about this listing now where I think it
can be improved a little bit so first of
all let's talk about the picture this is
the main image that you're gonna see
when you search for a wax warmer kit on
Amazon this is the first image you're
gonna see as a top-selling product and
it's a nice clean picture showing all
the aspects of the product so you can
see there's the wax heater here these
wax beads and popsicle sticks so you can
see that everything is included in a
nice clean picture with a nice white
background it looks very professional
and also was probably being purple with
this down dough stand out quite a bit
which I do like you can see if you look
at some of their other pictures they
have a Christmas picture so perfect in
time for the holidays if someone sees
this they might think it could be a good
gifting item you can see they also have
pictures of the product in use which is
perfect and then the product from some
other angle is some different usage of
the product and all that but you can see
they really have maximized the number of
pictures that can put so they put eight
pictures I believe the maximum you can
put is eight or nine so overall it's
done quite well and you do want to make
sure that you make the most of these so
people can have the best opportunity to
see your product looking over the title
you can see they it does flow quite well
and I have incorporated their keywords
in here and customers can tell the
product is from their title which is
obviously very important so you can see
that their brand name here I don't think
it's necessary to put your branding
because you're just wasting words in the
title and no one really cares about the
brand I'm not really a big name brand so
overall not bad though yilin hair
removal hot wax warming kit and then you
can see how the plus for hard about wax
beans plus ten applicator sticks so
overall title I like it it seems pretty
good and then this one they did a pretty
good job on bullet points they can still
be a little bit better but you can see
the first sentence or first key points
of each bullet is all in caps so it
really pops and really draws your eyes
towards it so you can see they have for
example this one four different flavors
for even flavor wax beans and then they
have a little bit of information about
the different types of wax beans they
have included so that's good you see
there's a variety this one just needs
eight minutes so you know that it saves
you time it's quick upgraded ABS
material and three plugin for your
safety so you know it's a safe product
which is always good it's a Kinsella
feature I must be the pullback farmer
for your best summer days I don't know
about that I feel like this person maybe
English is not their first language but
not bad like saying it's a good product
for a summer I guess and then suitable
for most box types so you know it's a
good product that will most likely work
with different lashes so you don't have
to worry about restocking with this
particular glass things but this
particular wax Pete brand so I like it
overall not bad still some room for
improvement typically I like to use what
are called tabs so feature advantage
benefit statements so we kind of list
the feature and advantage and benefit so
similar to this but I'll get into that
more when we go over the bullet points
they can see they've included a lot of
detail here which is good so they first
give you a quick heading so if you just
had a quick a few seconds to skim over
this you could just read those headings
that you'd be you have a decent
understanding
what the products all about and now we
can actually read more about it as we go
into sentences more but not that I like
it then we can scroll down to here where
they have a description so this is where
I think a lot of people don't take
advantage of the fact you can use HTML
coding to organize your description
these guys did do it which is good
otherwise if you don't use HTML coding
you're just gonna have if I were to
write all of this Amazon will just
combine everything and squish it into
one big paragraph they wouldn't be able
to have these spaces or any indents or
anything like that so he's gonna have
done a good job with that if you guys
don't know how to code don't worry I'm
gonna show you guys how we can do that
without needing to know how to code when
we get to that video but I think I've
done a really good job here making it
very clear the directions for use some
extra notes and then at the bottom here
they have everything that's included in
the product which I really do like and
you can see they have some their item
weight and all that and what's that from
your listing as well also another really
important thing is they've answered all
their questions so that's very important
that you don't leave customers hanging
and it can do the best you can with your
responses yeah that's all there really
is to disgusting so overall not bad we
are definitely gonna make a better one
than this though so stay tuned for those
future big O's coming up now I thought
would be it would be fun to just take a
quick look at a similar product to this
one that's not done as well and just
show you guys why there this one the
first thing we're gonna see this is not
a very professional picture it doesn't
even have that clean white background
this one actually had to go to page at
Ken or something to find the other one
was on the first page that first listing
so this one's quite far back and you can
see that having a bad listening does
affect your sales so we can see not very
professional pictures they didn't
maximize the number of pictures they can
have they only have four of them and
just looks like this looks like I was
taking at home just like not good
lighting overall I don't like it at all
you can see their title i I don't know
about this how good this title is
compared to the other one like do we
really need to put its 14-ounce and
model number I don't know if this is a
sought after product that people are
searching that but just based on first
glance I'd say pointless use some words
in the title not very useful you can see
these people on their bullet points they
really didn't take advantage of the
space that Amazon gives them and this is
like it's given bright passes and I
wouldn't even notice so I came on this
page just go right past it like it's not
it's not really standing out to me they
can see like on/off switch will be
adjusted to medium high that's not
important it has a see-through glass
cover lid do we really care that
mentions height like you can find that
later on in the product dimensions area
down here or in the description I don't
see why they wasted these valuable
bullet points for the information they
put here just doesn't make sense then we
can go down and they didn't have a
description the description is like one
sentence here so really gives us no
other information about the product
super useless they have all this space
and they didn't make any use of it so
really they just gotta understand that
from a marketing perspective if someone
gives you the opportunity to showcase
your product showcase your product so
that's just some quick examples of a
good listening a bad listing so I hope
