okay so to quickly finish how that
fisherman's story turns out which is
kind of like a Greek epic kind of feel
to it you know with the seams and
everything okay so now he the final
battle you know he has to he finds out
that love is the answer and so he spends
the next few days thinking about all
this and everything that's happening on
the boat and you know the crew tell them
they're running out of food he came back
says hey well we can fish for food well
your boat is going to hold up much
longer we only know if it'll make it
back home the longer we wait the worse
it is for us and you know what you know
then they kind of freaked out we're
going to die on the sea and he says what
a better way to die and then finally
there's a bedroom scene with max and the
sister and she's like look you got to
stop pushing me away I know you like me
I know you know I know you care about me
so let me in and then he remembers the
statue said love is the answer and so he
does let her in and he tells her how his
wife died and I guess that helps them
let it off-the-shoulder
him and the sister make love they're
awake in the next morning with pounding
on the door the crew is like hey the
wall is open the wall is open so that
was it that was you know love was the
answer so those the statues were
actually holding him back by keeping the
door closed that's why the sisters
didn't understand why the door was
closed because the they always have it
open and then now we need to get into
the aftermath with equilibrium when the
story is finished so he has reached the
goal he got them back home he gets paid
the father the father gives him a bunch
of like gold or something they do some
repairs on the boat so it will
definitely make it back safely
and now he needs to make a choice he has
to either decide to stay with her and
you know and lose his boat because the
men have to get back with the boat or he
can oh he can always go back and get it
but you know he asked his side between
these two ways of life either to be with
her or to go back to his life on the
boat he asked her to come with him she
was like I can't I can't leave my family
so he kind of feels like this conflict
and this is sort of like the moral
conflict but in this case
really a moral conflict so much so but
it's definitely a conflict he that he
needs to make a big decision so he
decides that he has to go and he's like
I'm sorry and he gets on the boat and
when they're passing the statues the
statues say once again to him the answer
is love and he realizes they're right
and he tells the men he tells his crew
look you can have my share of the money
he taps the boat on the side you know
take care of her referring to the boat
they're like but you like fishing you
love fishing you love your boat what do
you mean and Mack says fishing was
always a way to run away to avoid true
love you know it was my way to run away
so he dives into the water and swims
back to the sister the end so anyway
that's a quick way to use this structure
once you know how to use a structure you
could use it to come up with stories I
came up the story really quickly within
like 10 minutes I wrote all this down
just really quickly while staring at
this and I just plugged in everything as
I was going to come up with a quick
outline I can then take this outline and
develop it further and turn it into a
synopsis and this is really good this is
really helpful to look at and stare out
to write your outline what which you'll
base or synopsis on or to just flat-out
write you out right your outline or on
it your synopsis right so now we're
going to go through in detail what all
this stuff means and how to use it to
develop your story to make your story
awesome and I guarantee it will make
your story awesome and then as final as
a final touch I came across this this
great software it's just fantastic and
I'm glad I was finally able to get it
because adequate is pretty cool but auto
quit doesn't do everything I wanted it
to and besides that you have to pay a
yearly amount in order to use auto
critten I don't want to pay a yearly
amount just to use the software you know
it's like fifty dollars a year that adds
up over the years use it for five years
that's insane amount of money to have
for software so anyway got you have to
be online to use it you know what if you
can't get online and you really need the
software you really need to edit and you
can't get online cuz you're like got
your laptop and you're travelling
whatever
so master edit I put the link in there

anyway the links in the description I
check it out just just go test-drive it
check the software out I think you'll
love it it's the best thing ever happen
for editing it like searches all it
finds all of the words that are repeated
in your document so if you repeated the
word vampire too many times it your or
more than once it'll highlight them but
it you can easily quickly tell if you
repeat it a word too many times because
it highlights them it highlights
repeated phrases it does so much stuff
it just really will make your editing
life so much easier and quicker it'll
make your your final manuscript that
much better okay so I got that out of
the way we're going to get on with this
now so the first thing you want to do is
your desire is what I'll quickly go
through what what these mean I guess and
then I'll show example I'm going to use
this I'm going to do it live because I
learn best personally I learn best by
example so I'm going to develop my
fantasy story I've been working on in
which all my characters are protected so
I mean maybe they're not worth stealing
but you know just for you know don't
steal them if you for want you can you
can like use them just for a fan art or
something but you know just give credit
to me whatever alright so so after I go
through a brief explanation of what each
one of these things mean then I'll go
into a more in-depth explanation by
developing my fantasy story and show you
how how I use this and how I plug each
one of these in and that will be the
more detailed version so first I'll
start here because this is where you
start when you build your story you want
to think of the ending burst and then
you know work from desired ending or
come up the desire then come up and
ending so the goal is simply the end of
the story it's what it's it's the goal
of the main character or main characters
it's what they're striving for they
either achieve it at this part of the
story or they fail to achieve it but
they have to be striving for that goal
they need like this the single idea that
underlines every other little conflict
and every other little goal they might
have throughout the story they might
have little goals one leading to another
goal leading to another goal
but they have to have this overall
arching goal that they want it can be
vague even but they need this overall
jingle something that they're trying to
get the whole time and so just give me
example in this story
his overall arching goal was to get
money to fix his boat you know and
that's why he decided to go and get
those crabs but then he had this change
this monkey wrench thrown in and now was
it was about getting these women back
safely to their place but still his
overall goal is to get money to fix his
boat so he was still going to get money
for taking these girls back and at the
end he gets his goal but then decides
that what he really wants and what he
would what he wanted was love and that
was his need what he really needed was
love to let go of his wife and once he
got his need he realized you know I
don't need my boat anymore I don't need
to fix her up I don't need money I just
you know I got love now so that's a
desire so that the character needs some
sort of desire and notice the desire and
goal are linked that is what they desire
pushes them all the way to the goal so
they need to they want they need to want
something badly
bad enough to push them to go through
all this crap to get to where they're
going and at least to get them to the
turning the no turning back point once
they get that point you know they can't
just give up because they can't go back
to their ordinary lives anymore
everything's changed and it's not
possible just to ignore it and go back
and but they have to steal from that
point on desire what they what they want
or give them a new desire they have to
always have a desire that will reach
them to the end of the story to the goal
and then they must either fail to get it
or get it at the end of the story
otherwise the story is not complete it's
not a story so what is conflict then so
now we know what desire is desire is
that which the character really really
wants usually as an external desire but
they can also want internal things and
those internal things like you know
needs whatever can happen throughout the
story as well it adds more depth to a
story okay so what is conflict then so
really quickly conflict is like it's not
just that he's fighting like in this
story it's not just that he's fighting
octopus and overcoming sea nymphs and
overcoming sea storms and overcoming the
attack of crazy bird-like creatures you
know with human faces you know that's
not that's conflict obviously but that's
not what's meant by conflict conflict
what you want in a story with conflict
is for example like when his main
conflicts is do I catch all these crabs
take these women back with me you know
say forget it
right before hits that no turning back
point do I just catch the rest of my
club crabs and take these women back to
my to my harbor and they can find their
own way home or then I can I can decide
if I can help them after I fix my boat
but they're like no we will need to get
back now it's really important because I
don't know maybe they're trying to get
to a wedding or something maybe they're
trying to get to something important and
unique it's the conflict is well if I
decide to help them then okay actually
