Nexus CPU Pool Mining Guide Video Lecture | CPU Mining: Basics to Expert - Cryptocurrency

welcome back to another video in this
one I'm going to be sharing with you how
to CPU mine Nexus so Nexus has already
been getting a lot of traction over is
last week the actual market cap has gone
from two and a half million to just
touching that six million dollars and so
that's an increase over this last week
set to really come to life and this is a
coin that I actually picked just before
Christmas and it was one of my
recommended CPU minor ball Queens so
this one is looking like a really good
client in mind right now
and so I'm jumping back in and my name
more agha and I'm recommending you guys
to do the same thing just for jumping to
showing exactly how to do it one of the
cool things about Nexus versus other
quantities that it has and two separate
mining channels so when you'll see for
you mining you're not directly competing
against the CPR the GPU miners so what
it actually does is it flip-flops
between the CPU and GPU mining so like I
said there's no advantage to GPU mining
this coin over the CPU miners
so it's a good coins in mind alongside
your other you know mine in efforts
so what going to do now is I'm just
going to jump onto computer next to me
so this is a worker 10 on normal call it
so you would have seen in my other
videos the CPU by the way is a Intel i7
950 overclocked slightly and that's the
machine I'm gonna be showing you on so
at the moment she's got the market cap
there so like to say that it was down
the loader 2.2 million US dollars and
you can see now it's at like 590 just
under 6 million so it had a really good
run and that's just over the last seven
days so looking really good going
forward
definitely a coin that you once and one
so let me just close the browser this is
the software that writes you're going to
be using which is the Nexus CPU minor
and you can see I'm running it with free
course and I'm getting 230 231
PBS that's the actual performance how
its measured so that's the equivalent to
the hash rate so it's Prime's per second
but that's the equivalent your your hash
ray
so let's close it what I'll do is I'll
put a link in the actual video

or where you can actually download this
mana from I'll put a package together
where you can download it now just be
like I ready to go one in package and my
batch file in there and everything that
you need to get started so just download
that and then extract it to your desktop
or your downloads folder wherever you
like and these are the files that you're
going to see inside so included with it
is actually free set current miners so
I'll show you how to configure it at the
moment but for most people what you're
going to use issues this nexus
underscore CPU monitor Exe but to start
it we need to edit the actual batch file
which includes our configuration so
don't just click on the Vav executable
and start by the batch file to select
the batch file and then you want to
right click and edit it and then inside
the batch file is going to look a little
something like this
so I'll just stretch it search is kind
of more on one line so let's hope you've
just got begin it's not really relevant
you can definitely make any difference
but I'll get to the important stuff so
the first part is this nexus anis or CPU
miner and you can change this to one of
those other file names so if you've got
a Core 2 Duo change it to underscore -
call to exe and if you've got Sandy
Bridge processor then just change its
file name to match up with this program
here so but for most people you just
going to want to leave it exactly the
same as it is so Nexus underscore CPU -
EA x e so the next part is the actual
pull so this is a CPU pull minor so the
pool that we're going to be using is the
nexus my name Paul calm and then we've
got the port number that is the correct
port number - so this first part you can
basically leave all the same as it is
it's going to be the same pretty much
for most people the part that we want to
go change for yourself is big part here
so this is actually your Nexus 1 it
address so to get this all you need to
do is open up your Nexus water if you go
to your receive and then you can just
create a new address
should give a label demo and I'm just
going to copy that address minimize the
wallet now and then we're just going to
paste that address in to here so this is
our new wallet address and then the last
part is a space and then we've got free
so the free is a number of the mining
calls that we're going to be using so I
prefer to use it one less core than the
process that actually has so on a four
core processor I use free cause if
you've got like you know a hexa 6 core
process and you want to use five calls
or if you've just got a dual core
process and you may only want to use one
core so this is something that you can
sort of them test with and you see which
you get the best results with so then
I'm just going to say that in this case
I'll just save it as if you do use the
save as option put the file name as demo
dot bat but where you've got the actual
save as type make sure you change it
from text documents to all files
otherwise it will just get saved as a
text file and you won't get to run the
batch roll so I'm just going to say that
you can close feeding notepad now and
you can see here here's the batch file
that we have just created so I'm just
going to double click and where we shall
run that now so you can see it's got our
address in there click the mining pool
free fred's there's a time out of 10
seconds then it says generating primes
as you can see it's kind of connected on
1 2 and 3 blocks the first one is always
count the threads or the calls it will
always start from 0 and then go up from
this so you've got all three threads
there and then it's just going to start
mining away so from this point you can
just leave it you'll see in the actual
sort of main window you'll get this
primes per second on this configuration
that I was getting about 225 or on the I
five six six
yes 6600 K that I've got I would get
around 450 hashes per second
oh my AMD a10 7700 K I was getting
around 150 to 160 hashes per second
that's on three quarts for each one of
those devices so that would give you
kind of a benchmark figures to go by and
so yeah 223 primes per second under the
bottom you've got the actual block
height but what you'll also notice is
that is currently a balance which is
quite cool so obviously the more you
mind your balance you're going to pick
up is going to slowly accrue over over
the hours or days I depending on your
hash ratio and then what it's good
actually going to do is going to pay out
to your wallet so the payouts I'm not
sure exactly how often they're done I
think they might be done either once per
day or once when you hit a certain
threshold so and I've been getting power
roughly showing them good transactions
so when they seems to be I've always
different kind of miners but they're not
labeled so they're kind of coming
through fairly regularly so for some of
my minor them it's happening with three
or four coins and on the other one is
Oslo and one is it's just kind of
happening periodically and so yeah you
should basically see some results within
a day or two regardless of how how fast
you mind there okay guys so that's it
