Bitcoin Like Monero Coin CPU Miner For Mac OSX Video Lecture | CPU Mining: Basics to Expert - Cryptocurrency

hey everyone it's late here in this
video I'm going to be showing you the
easiest way to Mayan crypto coins on
your Mac the laptop or desktop computer
so that's iMac power Mac and all those
kind of devices okay so we're just going
to get started the first thing you want
to do is open up your browser I'm just
going to Google and just type a search
for miner game.com and just a click on
the first one that you see there the
next thing you went to is that actually
on the miner gate site you just want to
go across to the green button that says
sign up just enter your email address in
here just enter an email address and the
password a suit that's suitable for
yourself
just click sign up on the next page
you'll be taken directly to a download
page and if it's not already selected
for you the one that you want it's
obviously the Mac version and if you
scroll further down you'll see various
options for different platforms but
obviously on this machine we want the
Mac version which is already pre
selected at the top part up here so
we're just going to select get that
that's where it's happening
then Yin we just needed to drag it
across to the Applications folder and
Miss instance just before actually all
display that would just drag it across
to the Applications folder I'm gonna
replace an existing one that I already
had in there you wouldn't need to do
that you can just close that time and
that's basically that installation part
now if you just go to your launch pad or
you can go to find out and then
applications I just go to a launch pad
then I'm just gonna open up the actual
minor game minor you'll see there they
just popped up an error I'll just show
you how to deal with that if you go to
finder then if you go to applications if
you actually scroll down to the minor
gate application select then and I right
click and then go to open you'll get
like a different message and it just
says that you need to verify to open it
click on open and then it will open
normally and from that point on this um
so this is the actual miner Gaelic
mining application the top part you just
need to enter the email address that you
used to sign up from on again calm you
can also additionally add in a password
which gives you extended details but you
don't actually in to add in the password
just your email address is fine then you
just want to click on start one the
first page that you get is a start smart
mining and basically what happens is the
mana gate application will use the best
configuration it deems to give you the
most profitable mining personally I like
to click on the next button which is
that it all Meyer there and then I
personally just like to select my own
actual Winer
at the moment I'm personally mining XML
which is Manero
that's one of my favorite coins the
Mayan and you can just CPU mind that
with your Mac and you'll get a
reasonable amount of coins without
burning too much electricity and so they
just click on that this number on the
right hand side here is just how many
CPU cores you're going to be using if
your intended I'm using the computer at
the same time you probably just want to
use half your CPU cores and but in this
instance I'll just set it to two and
we'll select start mining and then
you'll see the hash frame going up there
additionally you can also sometimes
depending on the coin you can also
select merge mining in this instance an
emergent mining it with another coin
called phantom coin it's not entirely
necessary but it just means that you're
basically mining to cleanse at the same
time and there's no extra you're not
losing anything in terms of performance
it's just the more efficient way to mine
so that's not that is an option and just
makes more sense pseudo and so that's
pretty straightforward and then you can
just minimize it carry on with your
other basic pieces wherever you might
like to do and I'm just going to jump
back to the actual minor gate website if
you then go to Monica calm and login
using your details if you then click on
your dashboard you'll see an overview of
the current coins that you're actually
mining so you can see here that we're
currently morning Manero we've got 13
coins and a little bit and you'll also
show you your current hash rate and
status online or offline and also your
current active workers you can actually
use multiple machines and just make sure
that all using the same email address
they don't all get credited to your
account so you can see here I've got two
active workers and I'm one in Manero and
also at the same time fencing coin using
that much money and so that's basically
it so yeah really simple just to give
you a quick summary
go to mine again sign up with your
username a email address or a download
the application install the application
and then just start the application for
your email address and from there you go
one other point to mention is you might
want to adjust your max power saving
settings and there's quite common for
max to turn off and after a short period
of time if you're intending on mining
all the time I would recommend it for
laptop computers but for a desktop
machine you just want to select your
computer to sleep basically never I
normally to tell my screen off but
they're not they just leave the power
setting set to never turn off and
obviously you can just go to the Apple I
put on turn the Machine off manually
should you wish but that will just keep
reminding and when you actually want it
to mine so that's basically that so I
