features in this scale tool if I click

new feature for lazy people let's cancel

next thing I want to show you is when we
are in single window mode and we open
another image let's say this one this
image now opens is a tab that is in a
new window but if you turn this off and
you go back to the previous workspace
where we have the main window and two
other windows the new image will open
again in a new window so this works only
in this single window mode we have tabs
here for every new image let's close
this and another thing I want to mention
I said this before but again save and
save as will only allow you to save in
the GIMP native file format which is xcf
and also some archive file types here
but if you want to export your image in
another file type such as JPEG or PNG or
any other you have to go here in export
option where all the file types are
found so this is kind of a big change
and it would take some time to get used
to to go here and setup here next is a
very useful new feature the ability to
create layer groups now I'm going to
create some new layers here
I'd say free new layers and now I can
click right click and click new layer
group and now I can put these layers in
this new layer group and you see we have
this tree like structure here you can
also make another layer group within the
layer group right-click new their group
and you see here now what we have
another kind of a sub layer group here
can add also this one this is very
useful because let's say I'm editing
this knives and I have a lot of layers
here and I want to also add some text
with a lot of effects and a lot of
layers I can just make all the editing
to this knifes in a layer group and just
close it like this one and I'll have a
lot of workspace here available to start
working on a text here and again may be
added to a layer group and have more
organized and neat workspace you won't
have to scroll down endlessly you just
have everything organized nice and
neatly so that's it for this tutorial
