in this tutorial we'll be looking at the
revolve tool it's quite easy to use
let's start by creating our sketch so
this guy draw it's very important that
we draw on this plane so just click
their first let's create a line let's
then look at our right view so we know
what we're drawing what we want to do is
just create the side profile of what
essentially is going to then revolve 360
degrees so I'm going to have fun here
I'm going to create something wacky
don't know what it is yet we'll work it
out as we go

like so so now we've got our side
profile now with when we select that we
can click on it again the pool appears
and we can click on revolve or you can
choose to go up to the top and click on
revolve on there but I just love how
user-friendly this software is things
pop up and then then they let you know
what you can and can't do so you click
on rebel here it's asking you please
select the axes for revolution so of
course we need to select our vertical
line and now it's asking us how many
degrees do you want this to be revolved
so we can click on this circle and we
can start to turn it or again you can
type in a numerical value so we can do
it like that or we can type in 360 enter
and there you have it you've created
your first revolve it's amazing how
impressive it looks so have a play for
yourself and hopefully you can start to
them come up with find creative ways of
using the revolve tool
