hey guys 54 new start and this is gonna
be a quick tutorial on a platform where
that can also go on a nobody caught on a
ladder I'm going to set this to be a
node WebKit and that debug I don't a
debug ever in layout also this file will
be down below but it also will contain
the next step and our construct to top
down so you can switch weapons so I'm
gonna and then I go here and then I can
attach it I can go down and up but I can
also shift to the detach
I can also go downstairs it upstairs and
all that stuff so hopefully guys you
will enjoy that you only get the press
up when you're right on top of it and
then you're good to go

okay hold on laughs to load up this one
separately okay so here's our game that
we've been working in on top-down
Android game so we have our dynamic
shadows and all the character stuff I'm
gonna take out this guy boom and then
collect a weapon there we go and I need
to do is add a stage for actually what
you could do is I have a sprite below
him so his body is one sprite and then
you just overlay the bot like this top
part that we see is one sprite and the
sprite that's always there is the feet
sprite so no matter what happens so you
move him whatever his feet are still
doing the whole a we're moving so we're
actually going to switch over to the
rifle and shoot some blasts out that his
feet don't move here what would actually
and that's why I was like hey went to
another stage in another stage in
another stage and I was like now it's
just way too many stages making it way
too complex so I'm gonna do is I'm gonna
do some editing and the body that you
see right now is gonna be one version
and then that will be the one that we'll
be switching but his like the the part
that when you see him walking his feet
that will actually be pinned if you guys
know in construct two you can pin one
object to another so I'm just literally
going to pin that edit the walk
animation so all you do is see feet
going up down up down up down place that
on the first lower level and then place
the body on top so that you constantly
seem feet moving no matter what is
actually change
I should just I should be able just to
just literally just add that on I don't
need to actually make any huge changes
I'm actually should make the game a
whole lot easier to build and the only
thing that will then need changing is
the body and not the feet so we don't
have to worry about oh we have to add in
him idle and him idle with this weapon
it's no it's because he has no like
shooting animations it's just him
holding something it's literally just
switching out that still image to
another still image and the only
animation is the feed and that is on
below of his body so yeah hopefully that
made sense we're basically just pinning
the feet editing the feet out of all the
animations and everything and pinning it
as a separate sprite underneath the body
so you'll still see the animations but
we won't have to add in any other more
complex code or whatever to our setup so
