Space ZOmbies Video Lecture | Construct Tutorial: Become a Game Maker - Game Development

you guys 54 new start and weird be
starting a tutorial series partly your
cursor by construct to you construct two
guys but also this is part of actually a
game series that I am game series but a
game that I'm creating and I tutorial
series to go along with it some that
I've been request by the saqqara guys
and others that I've just decided to do
on a like basically a full game so I've
tried making League full-fledged games
but just by myself and it hasn't gone
that well and this sounds like seriously
i'm just going to do something that is
easy to do has a full story has
characters in it has a tutorial purpose
so that's what I'm going to be doing so
right now I just have a test level out
that's going to be basically using civil
properties at the same time so right now
we have music and like it's really kind
of loud I don't know if you can hear it
I don't think I said in my recorder to
record the audio so if I have a guy
moving so we're going to go into
character movement and all that stuff
and then moving and whenever you shoot a
bullet he's actually going to record
he's going to have a sound effect and
then they were gonna have 3d sound with
these like air vents and then we're
actually going to have fall damage so he
falls too far if you can actually lose
like the high percent health
I actually grab this off the unity so
they're like two bucks a pack and I get
like three packs
so that's what I have so far I'm gonna
have some more stuff out I'm actually
going to have the game because some of
you guys been saying hey what does it
look like on older devices the newer
device well I have an older samsung tab
too I just got myself a wikipad brining
Tegra 3 and a my brother just got a
galaxy tab for which you're actually
going to see review between all those
three devices see which one's good and
I'm going to run a test off of all of
them to show you guys how they run
become a lot of people have the galaxy
tab for a lot of nut a lot of people
have a device Whitacre 3 in it so that's
what the wiki pads for and then a lot of
people will have older devices and
that's what the same time a song to is
going to be about so I'm going for like
a Game Boy style game maybe just bit
more graphics than a normal game boy
game will have like Game Boy Advance no
I'm going to have a story i'm also going
to have characters and i'm also going to
have like a multiple versions like a or
it would be a talk to other characters
so on some you'd actually be able to
have a choice between who you would talk
to not who you talk to you but like what
actually caught what you'd say to them
like you're going to have your mouse
over or you tap a certain box on the
screen to say hey say this not that or
say this or you have multiple choices
like please give me the key or give me
the key damage or I'll shoot you if you
don't give me the key so I mean that
this will be three different choices and
then the character will react to how you
do that but those are going to be kinda
like few do the fact that for every time
you actually do that you need to build a
response
so I mean they're not hard to do they
just take a lot of work to do them and
then others are going to be more like
you just click the a button a couple of
times or another button for talking or
you actually just tap the character that
would be an interesting mechanic alright

actually actually in the next tutorial
it's gonna be for the Sachar guys is
going to be weapon switching so this guy
is going to be switching from his gun
right now too no weapon and then
switching to different weapon setups
like you can get a turret and all that
stuff and then we're going to be setting
up in enemy AI so this is basically
going to be the test room so you learn
how to play the game and then we and
it's going to show you how to stash you
know we how you shoot how you jump and
all that stuff so i'll see you guys in
