hey guys sabrina here today i'm bringing
you a brand new tutorial slash template
video i'm actually not a part of this
template collaboration but there is 11
designers i have put together over 80
free profile avatar templates we've got
notable designers like avala zhu abs
sweet light one and many others so most
of these templates are compatible with
most any art program you have but some
of them are photoshop only all programs
that can open up photoshop if we scroll
down through the page here we can see
lots of templates with different styles
from different artists which is really
good to see will give you lots of
options when you're choosing which one
you want to use so link down below
there's actually a link to get these
templates and I'm going to show you how
to use them as well so my program of
choice for using these backgrounds is
Photoshop so I'm looking at this one by
rekhs which i think is a really nice
design and I think I'm going to go with
this one I'm going to just click on the
PNG download link which will link me to
an imgur so once I'm on this page I'm
just going to right click and click save
image as save it to your desktop or
wherever you like and then I'm going to
go open it up in Photoshop so now that
we've got the overlay we want to find an
image to put behind it so I'm going to
probably use this little drawing I did a
while ago probably in November I'm just
gonna place it into the document once
I've done that I'm gonna drag it below
the overlay so that we have this cool
little effect going on here and it's
just as simple as that once we're happy
with it click file save and then we can
just save it as a JPEG and uploaded to
your profile but there will be ones that
are a little more complicated like
sweets template here which is a PSD file
so you can only do this in Photoshop and
other programs that can open up
Photoshop documents so once we open up
the Photoshop document will be greeted
with this screen we can choose the
colors of the template by going down the
right-hand side here and choosing the
folder that we want but I'm just going
to stick with the default purple and
first thing I'm going to do is change
the name by just using the text tool and
then positioning it right back into the
correct position and then I'm going to
double click on this smart object here
and I'm going to drag in my own artwork
going to delete the layer under it and
then click ctrl s to save then we can
see it will just replace it like that if
you're not happy with the sizing of it
you can always just size it up and
position it control us again and then go
back to the original layout and see how
it looks so I think that doesn't look
half bad
so just to save this we could just go to
file save as JPEG and then save so now
to upload your templates we're going to
go to your edit profile button on your
profile we're going to go to the choose
file in this avatar section then we are
going to navigate to the image you want
which was the suite template that I used
and I'm just going to click upload once
it's popped up there we're going to
scroll down to the bottom of the profile
and click Save Changes and then we can
navigate to our profile and then we can
see it has been applied anyways I'd like
