Connect Pixlr to Google Drive Video Lecture | Pixlr Tutorial: Master Image Editing - Professional Skills

this lesson is going to look at
connecting pics like to Google Drive
beyond your own computer
if you use Google Drive you can edit
your images directly in Google Drive
with picks up and just need to connect
it now this works best with the Chrome
browser even that Chrome it's Google's
browser and I've been chrome at the
moment and if you go to a new tab
you see something called app superior to
all the apps that I have added to grow
so if I click that there are a number of
different apps that are integrated into
Chrome that provides you with shortcuts
I can add all the pixel I haven't added
the editor yet but I've added pixel
ematic and pixel Express as apps within
Chrome then I can use directly so I
wanted to edit something that pixel
America I can just open it directly from
the Chrome browser instead of going to
pixlr.com and selecting pixel Ematic if
you want to add more apps there is a Web
Store link so down the bottom right here
is the shortcut to the web store you can
also get it from the window extensions
option which lists all of the extensions
that I have added into Chrome and at the
very bottom get more extensions get more
apps either way it takes me to the web
store and there are a number of apps
that you can add to Chrome and they
usually are either even to you as
we're going to new tab as shortcuts like
this and then the page after page of
them and you can move them around so I
can move that into this page you can
move everything around or also given to
you as extensions which are up here and
extensions are shortcuts little program
so I've got an extension here that will
actually capture something capture text
and add it to Google Drive or open my
one password or connect me to my plex
account
put all of the open tabs into one tab so
there are a number of extensions one of
which is Pixlr editor let's go to the
webstore and I'll get to it from here

I'd search for pixel and I want the
Pixlr editor but there are a number of
categories in genres so back here
there's a whole lot of genres here you
can search by genre or you can just
scroll up and down to you find something
that you fancy I know what I want so I'm
going to put pixel fix the editor
so there's the Pixlr editor I already
have Pixlr Matic at it that's got the
tick to indicate that I have any Pixlr
extensions are provided here and any
themes
so this is what I want so just tap the
free button and edit
and now it's added to my list of apps so
if I want to use pixel instead of going
to pixlr.com and selecting editor I can
just go to a new page and click that and
it will go to the same places like a
short after you shoot now is the fact
that you can link Pixlr editor as well
as pixel Express and pixel Ematic to
your Google Drive so if I went to Google
Drive and this is not going to work in a
tablet or an iPad or phone because Peaks
light is flash-based it won't work in
those portable devices to get this to
work on Google Drive you have to be on a
computer
so either you know any computer that has
a flash enabled browser let's go to
Google Drive and these are all the files
that I have in Google Drive I've
connected my Google Drive to my computer
but if I want to now connect Peaks like
to my Google Drive I go into the year
manage apps and look for any of the apps
that I have on right system there have
been added to Chrome
it's pixel editor
and it should be already connected
anything else that you want to connect
to your drive
so go to a picture so I have a folder of
pictures in here and if I want to edit
this picture I can right-click it and
open it with Pixlr editor
which will then go to the Pixlr website
before it lets me do that I have to
accept the permissions and I have to do
that once
and that loads that imitating from my
Google Drive and then I can edit said in
the normal waist might rotate that
and they weren't already to save it
I can save it back into my google drive
give it a different name and save it
back into the Google Drive or I have all
these other locations that I could save
it to back into Google Drive so I want
to go back into Google Drive there's the
image already there so if you're working
in the cloud in Google Drive you can
edit your images directly with Pixlr
editor or Pixlr Express and open this
one into pixel Express which is a deal a
much different program to the Pixlr
editor that I can adjust it rotate it
say visit poppy
rotated and that will save back into the
original location so now get back to
close that and back into Google Drive is
the other image just rotated
if I went into why people drive folder
on my computer
photos panorama they're already there as
well so that's my finder on a computer

this is well worth doing connect your
Google Drive to Pixlr editor and Pixlr
