wake up we've got to do a photo shoot
and you make portrait day you need to
choose a camera body and lens we're
going to be doing a casual portrait so
choose something appropriate for that
wide angle or telephoto or portrait
wide-angle or telephoto let's go
I guess I'll pick the wide angle
let's look and see how your shot came
out that looks like it's distorting my
features and it's not very flattering
I guess the telephoto lens would
compress the features more and make them
more flattering I'll try the telephoto
lens I'll zoom all the way in the
proportions are better but that lighting
is worst what could you do to fix that
uh maybe did I increase the ISO with
that help or maybe I should move into
the shade which of those should I do
I'll try increasing the ISO
let's look and see if that's better yeah
I guess changing the ISO wouldn't change
it cuz it's in an auto exposure mode why
don't we just move into the shade
hi cowboy the lighting looks a lot
better but there are still dark shadows
under my eyes and on my face this is
something we can do to make the light
even better maybe I could add a flash
oh it looks you right what should I do
for that I could adjust the exposure
compensation down or maybe I should do
flash exposure compensation instead are
you which one I guess I'll try adjusting
the exposure compensation down
how's that huh well my face looks better
but the background is almost completely
black ah I guess instead of using
exposure compensation I should use flash
exposure compensation it does a flash
I'll dial the flash exposure
compensation to minus 1 and 2/3 stops
and try again oh the light on my face
looks better and you can see the
background too but maybe you could add
some more background blur oh that's
controlled by the f-stop I remember this
but do i dial the f-stop up or down
it's an aperture priority mode there del
the f-stop up to a high f-stop number or
to a small f-stop number I guess I'll
try a high f-stop number
know the backgrounds even more in focus
I guess I'll try a low f-stop number
I've got us at the app to a well the
background is blurrier now but you're
completely overexposed why would I
choose one two hundredths of a second
what could be wrong something's wrong
what could it be
I could switch it to shutter priority
mode or I could make some change on my
flash shutter priority or make a change
on the flash what should I do
I guess I'll try shutter priority mode
TV on this Canon well that looks better
but now it's at f/8 and I wanted a f28
I guess shutter priority mode wasn't the
right choice I'll switch back to
aperture priority but this time I'll
turn on high-speed sync
because flash is only sync at one
200,000 unless you turn on high-speed
sync
loose on this camera those will perfect
on my LinkedIn page
I'll just hang out with cowboy over
weird to see herself yeah it is
it'd be really freaky with one of those
virtual reality helmets on but that
can't be far away right
