How to use AGS 40 (How NOT to do a Tutorial!) Video Lecture | Learn and Master: Adventure Game Studio (AGS) - Game Development

okay guys so like we're gonna like learn
some stuff about this program here so so
anyway like to make a game you'd like
like make some characters and like
here's a character of God I mean like
you said something some crap down here
and like then you draw some pictures for
him and then like if you make a room
like this a bit like if you don't have a
room like don't even bother making a
game because I mean like what's the
point you know so I can make a room and
like you make sure your character is in
that room before the game starts and
then like it's so cool like you have
this script file and like you can put
code in here and like the Walkman it
makes that makes the curve I think it
makes him I think it makes it walk think
and like and inventory whatever that but
I mean like what it whatever this stuff
to me also guys you gotta check it out
just awesome so why I was looking the
other day and like I opened it up hey
I'll make a game right so so I made this
game and and let me show you guys if you
like click on this button like oh you
just click on this button up here like
right there
it's right there so you click on it and
it runs the game and it's in this little
bitty window I don't know what the fruit
this thing's it says what's your name
what's the little man like shouldn't be
an arrow but anyway so what's your name
I mean I know because I did it you know
but that's just awesome so like you walk
like all this stuff right here that you
see him like this was done with the wall
remember that walk thing that I showed
you like I pointed it out I said that
causes him to walk that like that's what
this does so so I mean it's really easy
you can see like it's really easy like I
had it wrote this not not Sammy's quest
like wish it like proper game but the
guy that wrote like that guy like I mean
he's just like I bet you if if the
United States really wants to like cut
down on cyber terrorism like they should
hire that guy cuz I mean he can probably
I mean he can probably like catch all
the stand I mean I know how to write a
game obviously but I mean I don't know
like how would you write this game I
mean this program
so so anyway what I wanted to talk about
in this video is like like basically
what I just did how to how to make a
game so now that you guys know leave me
feedback cuz I mean I'm just like I want
to know like how many of you have made
this this game before I've used those
other game programs like game maker
programs some of them are awesome you
know some of them are really awesome but
like this one it's called a a no it's
called adventure game
adventure game oh there it is AGS that's
what I was thinking myself in it AGS
that's what it's called
so so just make sure you check it out I
think you can get it from like a GS
dotnet or something and I'm gonna check
it hold on a second I'll tell you what

remember that game company that needs to
make games
what was that company they made games
like like man that game with the the guy
and he he had to like guess a king I
don't remember his King something but he
went so that guy was like what that was
like a cool game you can like I don't
think that game was double agents but
I'm not sure I think it I think it was
written that this program right here I
think that company like a long time ago
got ahold of this program and I'm pretty
sure that's not bad creature because I
mean you really can't write a game like
you can't write like a real cool game
unless you use this program unless you
really know what you're doing and so
anyway what was that other one about

excited about computer games you guys so
