there's just a ton of buzz about his
book hey it's Brian G Johnson and this
is what I got a case study that will
walk you through the steps strategies
and tactics I use to launch my book
trust funnel On February 3rd 2015 and
this is what it'll do for you
implement these strategies and tactics
yourself and you'll create a viral book

so lots of people shared a picture of
themselves with my book and while that
certainly helped me to drive thousands
of sales during my book launch it's
really nothing new lots of authors send
out pre-release copies of their books in
order to begin generating buzz Cason
point here's Damian John promoting his
book with a handful of influencers while
attending the traffic and conversions
conference however this is where lots of
authors stop in it's a shame because
this is where things can if you know
what to do begin to get really good or
they mess up this step by asking peers
and influencers to help promote their
book lesson number one when you send
someone your book don't ask for anything
you see they already know that you love
their support with your book launch
instead simply share your book and call
it a day later we'll be asking for their
support however the goal of this phase
this is phase two of the Magic Bullet
book system is to simply share your book
with peers and influencers that's it now
as mentioned you'll be doing a bunch of
sharing before selling now I mentioned
phases the Magic Bullet book system is
based on a number of phases and as you
implement each phase your book launch
campaign will gain momentum synergy and
will begin to take on a life of its own
your job early on in phase 1 is simply
to get the ball rolling now the phases
of the Magic Bullet book system are
phase number 1 sharing the experience of
writing and launching a best-selling
book I want to make note not just
writing a book but you're sharing the
experience of writing and launching a
best-selling book this is powerful on a
number of levels will
about it in just a bit phase 2 is
sharing the physical book and
establishing social proof and phase 3 is
sharing the sales funnel the book sales
funnel and leveraging this social proof
that you've established and gained in
phase 2 and with phase 4 you're
launching and selling your book and in
phase 5 you're going to leverage the
momentum that you'll gain by going
through this process you see when other
peers and influencers see people
launching books they invite them on
podcast and live-streaming shows they
invite them to speak on stage and you
want to take all those opportunities to
gain even more synergy and so on that's
phase 5 now in this video I want to dive
in and talk about why phase 1 is so
powerful and and again that's what we'll
cover in the remainder of this video now
the idea is simple and that is to tell a
fun and engaging extended story via
Facebook and/or other social media
platforms that you might leverage
whether it's Twitter or LinkedIn or
YouTube or whatever day after day week
after week your story will evolve as you
share your book launch journey with the
world now I want to talk about the words
booked and launch as well as book
release this is a very important
distinction between the Magic Bullet
book system and typical product launches
and in book launches so what is the
difference well simply put launches are
associated with products and launches
typically happen days prior to a book
becoming available to the public a
product launch involves selling and
while will do that too prior to selling
will do a whole lot more sharing online
and this idea of sharing is absolutely
critical to your success as it removes
any kind of used cars men feelings that
can
typically be associated with product
launches and selling online because
there is no selling heck there's no
selling or there's no product in phase
one because you're simply sharing your
experience of writing a best-selling
book this idea of sharing is something
that I learned from Morgan James founder
David L Hancock and I talked about you
know how can I get some great results
how can I sell more books and he'd say
well don't try to sell share and I did
just that and it worked like gangbusters
so you might ask what the heck do you
share well
you share the day to day writing you can
share what makes your book unique and
why your book is valuable you can share
your goals and dreams for the book and I
want to make note you're not just
writing a book you don't just share on
Facebook hey I'm writing a book but
rather you write and you update people
that you're writing a best-selling book
that you're striving to create something
Matt that matters and when you strive in
that manner people stop and they take
notice and you can share milestones such
as completing the first draft or you can
share cover concepts if you're signing
with a publisher well awesome
share that and likewise if you've
decided to self-publish explain why draw
people in and allow them to live
vicariously through you as you update
facebook now to be clear it's really
important to share a variety of things
across the social sites like Facebook I
typically share personal memes photos of
Colorado that could include sunrises
sunsets etc I also like to share travel
pictures pictures of my dogs and lots
more generally speaking the goal is to
share fun pictures that are social in
nature furthermore by engaging with
other like-minded people and that means
peers and influencers people that are in
your niche and by taking a genuine
interest in their life
you'll find that those people oftentimes
will generally take an interest in you
in your life and that's what networking
and social media marketing are really
all about you see it's all about
creating relationships with people and
adding value to their lives furthermore
releasing a physical best-selling book
is something that lots of people would
love to do and by sharing your journey
and your book launching experience
you're letting other people share in
that experience vicariously with each
facebook status update that you make
more and more people will begin to take
note of your story it's like it becomes
almost a reality TV show the only
difference is that it's broadcast via
social media and as more and more people
are exposed more of those folks will
begin to engage by liking sharing and
commenting on your book updates and that
engagement triggers the Facebook
algorithm and that results in your book
at updates gaining momentum as they
reach more and more of your Facebook
friends and followers by the way during
this period my followers grew from
several hundred to over fifteen hundred
in a few months now this is all phase
one it's about sharing your personal
book launch experience phase one is
fairly one-dimensional it's you crafting
an authentic story online now in Phase
two you'll begin to strategically send
out pre-release copies of your book to
friends peers and influencers and your
book launch campaign will transition
from a story being told by one person to
a story being told by many and in the
process your Magic Bullet book campaign
will transition from launch to fund
social media event and my friends that's
where the poof pixie dust begins to take

to strategically send out your books to
peers friends and influencers and in the
process you'll begin to create social
