if you're a fiction writer your
manuscript will probably contain a lot
of dialogue where screenwriting has a
regimented way of splitting up dialogue

dialogue will be mixed up with the rest
of the text but it may still help to
check that your dialogue flows naturally

can help you with this here's an example
text which contains a lot of dialogue
first I'll click in the editor to make
sure it's in focus then I'll go to edit
writing tools linguistic focus I'll
choose direct speech from these options
and you'll notice the rest of the text
fades leaving the dialogue standing out
you can control how much the text fades
using this slider and this should give
you a clear indication of the flow of
dialogue in your manuscript on Windows
