I'm gonna share with you how to find out
what people really want hey welcome to
personal branding with Joe on the Jews
so in this video I want to share with
you how to get feedback about what
people really want now I know the advice
is to send out surveys but sometimes
it's really hard to get responses for
surveys particularly if you don't have a
big audience to draw from also sometimes
people if you know them or yeah
typically if you know them they don't
really tell you what they really need
and they tend to speak like in marketing
terms like they'll say oh I really want
to lose weight but they won't really go
into as much detail as a real person
filling out a survey will so I want to
share with you where you can get some
actual real words that people use to
describe the problems that they're going
for that they are suffering with so you
need to go to amazon.com and what you'll
do is you'll look for a book on the
subject that you sell and you need to
read the five star reviews and then you
also need to read the one-star reviews
that will tell you both what people like
about something and what they hate about
something and you need to know both and
what you ultimately do is read some of
the reviews and just pull out some of
the specific language that people use to
describe their problems I'll show you
here so here in this example I think I
did a search for a diet book and if you
read it some of the things that they
were saying is okay I lost five pounds
in four days and I don't feel hungry at
all
that could be a title right there if you
are capable of showing someone how to do
that another thing is it's pretty hard
to maintain and if you read throughout
the review it has some really good
information in here so what you can do
with those Tippett's is structure you
know call to actions or even free
products or just naming your product
like writing marketing copy for your own
product so you could say how to lose
five pounds this week without feeling
hungry at all or stop sabotaging your
weight loss with pretty hard to maintain
diets like those are very specific
language and it's way better than lose
weight today
you know and also the reverse if you
look at the one-star reviews you can
learn a ton of stuff about people just
hate and so if you read through this
review there's a ton of things here but
so some of the things you can crack this
how to lose five pounds this week
without eating just twigs and berries or
the perfect diet for people who are busy
have families in a small budget so use
these reviews to pull out some very
specific marketing language what you
ultimately need to do is usually actual
words that people use to describe their
problems that way when they read it they
oh my god that's me that's me that's me
I need to get this product so that's way
better than the general stuff that your
friends mason you back or that you may
