hi everyone this is a cut-down version
of my original Red River Rock tutorial
and let's face it the first one was
rather longer at the start so I cut it
down many of you have asked me if you
can produce your own music in MAGIX and
here's a tune I've put together based on
Johnny and the Hurricanes Red River rock
from 1959 on the top track here I've
recorded an instrument using an external
MIDI keyboard and here's the instrument
down here tells you which one of you if
I click on the instrument tab or the VST
tab it will open up the engine that I
use and here's the engine that I used to
produce that instrument I twiddle back
with the knobs and the switches and the
dials and the volume settings until it
sounded something like I wanted it to on
the second track I've used another
instrument and I recorded this using an
external keyboard as well if I click on
the VST for that it was the sax often
ear that I use again you might not have
all of these instruments but you can use
any of the instruments at your disposal
and on the third track I used a string
ensemble if I click on the instrument
for that shows you here I was using the
string ensemble in the Cathedral ok so I
record you those using an external
keyboard let's just click away from it
leave it as it is and let's play it
