ProgeCAD Basic: Draw Construction Lines & Ray Lines (Use as Guide Lines) Video Lecture | ProgeCAD Tutorial: Learn and Expertise - Design Softwares

hello everyone the last video was quite
lengthy which runs in about 25 to 28
minutes when I try to bring forward back
to basic using blocks if you have not
seen the video you can actually refer
back to that video on how to draw blocks
and for this video I will try to keep it
plain and simple using two new commands
which is construction lines and rail
lines using project 2011 professional
Edition so first look at what is the
purpose of construction lines
construction line basically put
guidelines to your drawing so that it
will be easier for you to do your
drawings so let's run into guidelines
now or I mean sorry
construction lines now you can go under
the new bar and the draw and then click
on construction line click on horizontal
then we'll create a construction line an
infinite line which runs from both sides
of the screen then fills up your
workspace whether you zoom in or zoom up
for example so and then now copy these
grid lines or guy construction lines
and use it as your guide now I want to
draw vertical lines just type V and then
you can also click this way if you want
to copy basically this will be your
guide line to your drawings and of
course you can also do a angle line
which is for example I want it to be 45
degree so these are infinite lines so as
you can see even if i zoom out you will
be never ending so this is good for
using as a guideline so the next step
you need to do me you need to create a
new layer for the Deaf points if you
don't know why this layer name
particular deaf points you can refer to
my previous video basically that points
is a non printable line or layer there's
you know drawing so change this to that
point okay
now I can start drawing my drawing using
the guidelines that
thrown out for example on the draw
rectangular and another rectangular
maybe another circle here subtract okay
so basically these are your guidelines
so let's try to plot out this we know
this area and we will try to print
preview done you can see your guidelines
will not print that if you use the DEF
points an a your name but if you want to
print your guidelines all you have to do
is change that to another layer and you
print preview again yep
the line is there you can see okay so
the next one will be the red line
so basically red lines are another
infinite line again but this time is
slightly different let's erase this okay
there will be easier to visualize
so again rayline's
is actually starting from a point as you
can see all right so you can actually
utilize this two method
to command and use it as your reference
guide in your drawing again you can
change it to that point so that it's not
printable and now you can start drawing
again you can pick those red lines
intersection to intersection and then
when you plot it up okay that's it so
you can actually use red lines and
construction lines to do your to access
your guideline in your drawings and it
runs infinite as you can see and I'll
