launched jenkins website and download
the latest java web archive from the
finder note down the location of the
downloaded war file now open the
terminal change the working directory to
the location where the war file was
downloaded launch Jenkins server using
the command Java dash jar
Jenkins dot war ampersand wait till the
server log will state Jenkins is fully
up and running open the browser and
navigate to the Jenkins server URL there

your Jenkins server is now ready to be
used
from ten code studio check the
properties of your projects pom.xml file
now copy the location of the file open
the browser and navigate to the Jenkins
server URL the Jenkins server dashboard
will load we will now create the test
job click on new job give the test job a
name the job name should be unique set
the project type to be maven and click
OK
scroll down to the build section and
paste the location of the project's
pom.xml in the root pom field then set
goals and options as clean verify save
the job return to the Jenkins dashboard
the new job is now listed in the
dashboard click the schedule a build
button to execute the job the new job
will be executed based on the Jenkins
jobs builds queue you can monitor the
execution scheduling and status in the
build executor status view wait until
the job execution is complete you can
now review the job log console output
test status and reporting in the job
