to write a book is it be I hope you've

today we're going to focus on your books
done what's next you need to market your
book and I'm going to give you some
ideas and strategies in this short and
to the point video so let's get going

and welcome back to my free video series
on how to write a book ASAP this is day
30 the last day in this free 30 day
video series how about that right so
today we're going to be talking about
marketing your book over the last 29
days have talked about building your
book writing your book building a
program building a system to help you
finish that book and then publishing
that book we've been talking about over
the last five to six days now you have
your book in your hands what do you do
next you need to create a plan you need
to start all over again the right
mindset create a plan create days and
strategies just and then just follow
through but I'm going to give you just
some quick tips and again I can't go
into a lot of detail on these short to
the point videos that I've tried to make
these so you're gonna have to do a lot
of other research now are hopefully our
journey isn't finished

watching these videos so here are some
tips that I suggest you do and that have
helped me sell more of my books tip
number one your book needs to be on
amazon.com okay it's the just the place
that you have to be you have to be on
amazon.com so hopefully if you went the
traditional publishing route your
traditional publisher will just get you
on there it's just they'll just do it I
know it if you want the self-publishing
route probably you went with one of the
either the vanity press or publishers or
you went to create space calm or
lightning source calm or another
print-on-demand company and most of
these print-on-demand companies will
help you get your book up on amazon.com
and if you haven't then you need to
figure out how to do that and I teach
that in biology Success Train
system second tip is you need to do an
e-book and I just a couple days ago I
talked about creating an e-book from
your book and turning it into an e-book
or a hundred the Kindle those are just
two things that you are a must to get
your book out there to the world and
then your your ebook needs to be on
Amazon and the Kindle version okay that
that's the least amount that you need to
do next thing that I suggest that you do
to help market your book
I suggest you create a blog and I
suggest you use WordPress so go out and
buy a domain name and get some hosting
and install WordPress on that domain
name now you can easily do that by going
to host monster com there will be a link
below hostmonster com buy a domain name
there and get hosting it's very cheap
and they have one one-click install of
WordPress okay
install WordPress and start blogging
about your books start creating content
around what your book is and start
attracting the people that want to read
it okay now in my author success
training system I have a whole blueprint
called building social equity that
teaches you how to create content how to
build a wordpress blog how to get it out
there on article sites how to create
press releases and then how to do search
engine optimization how to do is use
social media okay that's all of my
author success training system if you
want to learn more about that again you
can go to how to write a book ASAP com I
also teach more about this in my book
and in my workbook so create a blog and
start writing content the next thing you
need to do is you need to start building
an email list of your book readers so
give parts of your book away for free on
WordPress and have them opt in meaning
what they're going to do is they're
going to give you their name and email
address to get maybe the first chapter
of your book for free and then once they
do that you're building a relationship
with them send up a couple emails and
have them go buy the full book on Amazon
or wherever you want them to go buy it
okay
then keep building a relationship with
these people because when you write
another book now you have an email list
of people that you can send that out to
them and you know you'll become a
best-seller really quickly because you
already have a platform you already have
an audience of people that will love
your stuff now
keep in touch with these people on a
regular basis so that you can help them
find your other books and help them buy
the book that you just wrote so I I
suggest that you give your book away in
chapters or all of it if you can to get
them on an email list and giving pieces
away for free is really helpful and a
good example of that is this whole video
series a lot of what I've been teaching
you is in my book I didn't go into all
the detail that's in my book but you've
seen me read from my book and more of my
workbook I've given you guys content for
free so create YouTube videos and post
them about your book get people involved
go to forums that are related to your
genre or topic and start talking with
people and sharing your book with them
okay there's a lot of things there's
tons more things you can do and I'm not
going to go into them during this short
video but the bottom line is there is a
variety of things that you can do to
market your book and you can do
everything under the Sun but if I can
give you one tip with marketing your
book is be consistent consistently mark
it every single day create videos create
blog posts great articles invite people
via social media create an email list do
it consistently and you're going to sell
your book okay now there's lots of
programs out there that you can go and
research as well of people that have
become bestsellers there's lots of books
too that teach people to become
bestsellers so go research those on
Amazon and Google com
and that's it guys do what I've been
teaching you and you will become an
author you will become successful if
you're just getting here make sure you
go back and watch all the other videos
finish that book and become an author
