Mastering Ember Js - 17 What are ember adapters and the ember fixture adapter Video Lecture | Build Web Applications: Ember.js - Web Development

code logical and in today's video we're
gonna have a look at what are my
adapters and the amber fixture adapter
in general okay so if you have been with
me from the last video you may have
noticed that we did change this part of
the model to return a present a list of
people models instead of just a list of
strings so what are doctors in general

don't have any cars yes so that's why
you have the zero here but we have one
person in the picture adapter in
official part of the store so that's why

let's go ahead and let's look at the
networks that are so different so just
to confirm that it's not making us call
to the server that's the fresh as you
can see there's no call you don't put a
server so let me just comment this part
out this part that uses the show adapter
for the person and now refresh this and
you will see it makes a call to the
server as you can see it is a call here
that's going to the server and he's
doing I get to slash people but nothing
is being returned it's just an HTML but
here so this is not a right it's not
implemented properly so it's failing all
right so

adapter here and it will explain to you
why you should use the active mode
adapter maybe when you're using rails
bank server back-end but I don't use
rails so not quite sure about that so
there's no lines at the Express adapter
here which is the one that we showcased
today and it is official adapter as well
so those are the three main adapters in
ember and they all extend from the main
adapter class here but normally you
don't extend from that that's it guys
