Delete Events in iMovie 10.0.6 | Tutorial 63 Video Lecture | iMovie Mac: Basics to Advanced - Professional Skills

hello gents row here and welcome to
neuron films today we can continue our
iMovie tutorials and in this tutorial i
teach you guys how to delete events as
requested with an iMovie so I'm going to
do is open up iMovie and the best best
way to show you guys is just just to
show you guys and do it um but we have
our I move tutorials event here and then
we have within our movie tutorial
event we have our project my tutorial
and here's our project here at the
bottom and if you want to delete your
project I mean your event basically you
basically right click on your event and
go to move event to trash from here you
can empty your trash and it will be
completely removed from your hard disk
but keep in mind when deleting an an
event all the projects within that event
and all the footage within an event will
be deleted with it as well and take
caution sometimes like for example me I
have a normal rule films event here and
I have several projects within that
event and all those projects would be
erased and deleted if I were to move it
to trash so I don't quite want to do
that um I'm not I guess I can create a
from fake event here real quick if I
create a new event my created delete
this one and the way I created an event
if you're curious I do have a tutorial
on it but you simply right-click and as
I did have a somebody comment on this
right-clicking on them was different if
you have a if you don't have a mouse and
you have a trackpad though if you simply
put two fingers on a tribe trackpad and
impress and press in with with those two
fingers you'll get this little options
which is basically is right-clicking and
if you have a mouse just just right
click on the mouse and you will do get
these options but you'll find a movie
vent trash or new event for example new
events and from here you'll give you the
option to name that event for this event
I'm trying to call it delete this this
one that's they you met name which is
quite boring and I'm gonna go the new
I'm going to create a new project into
that event while selecting while have
then having that event selected we're
gonna have no theme for example creates
and we want
to go into this event the delete this
event and we name this project its name
it we delete me and hit okay so now we
have a in the event which is says delete
this one and within that event we have
delete me project if we open it up there
is nothing in it and there's no media
within it as well so I'm gonna delete
this event right click it and go to
movie vent to trash and it will give you
an options is are you sure you want to
delete this event all media files and
projects and this event will be deleted
clips used outside of this event will
remain in your library
so he continue as you can see you'll
find that every single one of my
basically projects and that event was
completely removed from this library and
now it's is in the trash that's basics
