hi guys I'm here bringing you another
affinity photo tutorial and in this
tutorial we'll be going over how to add
the diffuse glow effect on iPhoto so I
just started out with a picture of a
deer in some sunlight right here and I
wanted to add the diffuse glow effect
and the way to start this is to come up
to the layer panel come down to new live
filter layer and add a Gaddis and blur
filter now it's going to come out right
here and you can change the blend mode
to overlay and then come over here
to blend ranges and a deselect a linear
and now bring this node all the way down
and you can even change here you can
kind of adjust how you see fit I'm gonna
I'm going to play around a little bit
and I kind of like right here and then
it is all done and you have added the
diffuse glow effect now as you can see
if you unselect the blur layer you can
see how much has changed
it really takes down the light aspect
and keeps dark in certain places so when
you deselect it kind of keeps the dark
and only changes the light aspects I
think it's a really useful effect if you
have something in sunlight or any object
in sunlight to add a diffuse glow effect
it kind of gives it more life it makes
the photo seem more realistic and that's
the diffuse glow effect if you liked the
