1. What is the difference between Parliament and State Legislature?

Ans. Parliament is the supreme legislative body at the national level, while State Legislature is the legislative body at the state level. Both elections are conducted through a voting process, and the candidates who receive the majority of votes become the Speaker and Chairman, respectively.

5. What is the role of Parliament and State Legislature in the executive's functioning?

Ans. Parliament exercises control over the executive by ensuring accountability, scrutinizing policies, and making the executive answerable to the people. It can also remove the executive through a no-confidence motion. State Legislature plays a similar role at the state level, overseeing the functioning of the state government and holding it accountable.
