Ratios can also be used to solve problems involving proportions, such as finding the missing value in a proportion equation.

Ans. To simplify a ratio, you need to find the greatest common divisor (GCD) of the two numbers in the ratio and divide both numbers by the GCD. This will give you the simplest form of the ratio.
