can you see let me begin with the
question can you tell me which city was
cooler on Sunday now look at the graph
on Sunday what do we see the length of
the grey bar is smaller than the length
of the red bar what does that mean the
temperature in City X is less than the
temperature in City Y so the city X was
cooler than City y on Sunday let's move
on to something else if you look at this
graph you can find out out of the two
cities which had the maximum temperature
in the week now look for the longest bar
and there it is for City X on Tuesday so
we can say that City X had the maximum
temperature in the week and it was on a
Tuesday
once again go back to the graph look at
Saturday what do you see the temperature
of City Y was somewhere between 15 and
20 degrees centigrade but if you look at
it further you realize that was the
minimum temperature in the week and on
Wednesday there is something about the
double bar yes they have the same height
which means the temperatures of both the
cities were equal because the lengths of
both the bars happened to be the same
