vehicle collisions are the leading cause
of death among four to eight year olds
this is largely due to distracted
driving the buckle blocker child
restraint system is designed to help
prevent premature seat belt release our
first model the buckle blocker has
undergone two years of design revisions
and prototyping and is ready to be
manufactured it attaches to any standard
seat belt using two industrial-grade
velcro straps these straps can be
positioned behind the cover making it
difficult for the child to remove them
the buckle blocker works by covering the
release button and is too strong for a
child to pull back on their own this
